Equilibrium Energy & Education

I went for their sampler weekend to try a few healing therapies I wasn’t familiar with. It was so much fun! I decided to join as a member because they have lots of classes and workshops. I had never heard of Colorpuncture but now I’m in live with it and I’m eagerly looking forward to going back for more sessions.
This is the best place to go for crystals, books on energetic healing, beautiful gemstone/​crystal jewelry, and little gift items. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable, and went out of their way to answer my questions.

Equilibrium is a great place to learn about energy healing, and receive such treatments. The staff is welcoming and professional, and are quite knowledgeable about books, crystals, and the different treatments that are offered (HMR, reiki, aura soma, colorpuncture, etc.).
I started attending the full moon meditation with Vern Nichols on a regular basis and it’s a nice monthly meditation. Strongly recommend Equilibrium to anyone who is curious about energy healing — this place is wonderful.

My girlfriend discovered Equilibrium during our recent stay in Chicago and after her glowing experience, I too decided to check out Reiki there for the first time. I was absolutely blown away by my first treatment! By chance, our stay perfectly coincided with their periodic Reiki training classes. I took this coincidence as a sign that this was something not to be missed and being so impressed by everything about Equilibrium, I enrolled in their Reiki training program completing levels one and two. I experienced so many wonderful, unexplained things each time I visited. Just being in that place during class made me feel so good; even before receiving any attunements! The warmth and professionalism of the staff is directly on point with the classy design and beautiful ambiance of the space. I was also introduced to a host of new energy healing modalities there. I didn’t have time to check out everything I wanted to but experiencing Reiki, Bengston, HMR, and Biofield Analysis has truly had a hugely positive impact on my health and life in general. I can’t imagine a better way of presenting energy medicine than the way it is expressed at Equilibrium. We so look forward to returning for another mind blowing energy adventure next time we are in town!

Great little place offering a variety of classes, workshops, books, and energy healing (Reiki, among others). It’s nice to see a place like this open up in the South Loop.
The store part of the business has a nice variety of books, crystals, etc.
I’ve signed up to attend their Gong Mediation this week and will report back.

This is a wonderful place that specializes in energy healing. Not only are there many energy therapies available, but they offer classes so that you can learn how to do some of these therapies yourself.
In addition, there is a great retail section full of books, CDs, beautiful jewelry… and more! You can stop in at any time during regular hours to browse the wonderful selection of merchandise.
It is such a peaceful atmosphere that even walking in the doors relaxes you!

Went to the Full Moon Meditation last night with Andrea Lopez. No, there wasn’t any drumming, or weird voo-​doo stuff that people associate with the full moon.
Before the meditation, Andrea told us that there is alot of energy around the full moon,(I’m known for having sleepless nights, and they say that ERs are full at this time) and this meditation helps us ground and direct the energy in constructive ways.
The meditation was lovely — she guided us into recognizing the love within us and directing it towards the world as a whole.
Equilibrium seemed great as well. A book store with lots of items other than books, like stones and crystals. I hope to return soon to take one of their classes.

I love the energy in this place! 1^st off. It is located in the Dearborn Station which is a Chicago Historic Landmark. It was built in the 1880’s & is now mainly office/​retail spaces but it is just such a beautiful building. I haven’t taken all of Equilibrium’s classes, workshops, and/​or lectures but I did complete a Level 1 & 2 Reiki class which were both wonderful. They have lots of great «routine» services/​classes (Reiki, Aura-​Soma, Massage & Craniosacral therapies, Hypnotherapy, Yoga, and others) but also have lots of guests come in for workshops.

Great little gem located in the historic Dearborn Station. Offers a small shop as well as a wide variety of classes, workshops, and lectures.
