Business Owner

Emily Ann Granger is a graduate of Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music and the Chicago College (BM) of the Performing Arts (MM) where she studied with world renowned harpists Susann McDonald and Sarah Bullen. Miss Granger was the Principal Harpist of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago from 2012 – 2014 and has performed as substitute Principal Harp with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Lyric Opera of Chicago on numerous occasions. Recent performances have included concerts with Yo-​Yo Ma, Riccardo Muti, Renée Fleming, Jonas Kaufmann and Janelle Monáe. Emily is on faculty at the VanderCook College of Music, British School of Chicago and the Chicago Harp Ensemble.

Emily is a founding member of the Chicago Harp Quartet. Since its formation in 2012, CHQ has presented unique and charismatic performances on the concert stage across the country. The 2013 – 2014 season marked the unveiling of the CHQ Composition Contest funded through a generous grant from the American Harp Society.
