Established in 1990.
Chef Emilio opened his first Tapas style restaurant in Chicago 24 years ago. Bringing his love of his small village flavors and style to the big city, Emilio is still creating with his dedicated Chef Crispin.

Business Owner
From the small village of Berchules above the city of Granada on the southern coast of Spain, comes Emilio and his love affair with his home town food and wine. Bringing with him his experence of his Uncles Bakery, his Grandfathers Tapas Bar and his culinary journey around Spain and France, Emilio headed to New York. Eventually finding his way to Chicago with his wife and kids in tow, he set out to open his first restaurant, in Hillside 24 years ago.
