Opened on September 19^th, 2014, editions Kavi Gupta is a curated space with a focus on art publications and artist multiples, located at 835 W Washington Blvd. in Chicago. Featuring monographs, theory, zines and criticism as well as rare artist editions and out-​of-​print art books by major contemporary artists, editions will be a point of convergence between the literary and art worlds both locally and internationally.

Editions operates as a satellite of Kavi Gupta, a world-​renowned gallery that represents some of the best artists in the world, with a focus on exhibiting international, emerging and mid-​career artists in all media. In 2013 the gallery opened an additional 7000 sq ft Chicago venue whose inaugural exhibition, Roxy Paine’s «Apparatus,» was selected by The International Association of Art Critics as the Best Show in a Commercial Gallery Nationally. Editions aims to expand on the curatorial mission of the gallery with their careful selection of books, objects, and lectures series, providing Chicago’s arts community with a venue for critical discourse.
