Ecolife Dry Cleaners and Alterations

Been going here since we moved onto the block down the street… 2.5 years or so… Generally positive experience and affordable. Unfortunately I’ll be looking elsewhere as I’ve been seeing some workmanship issues with my dress shirts the last couple months. Not sure if this is due to new employees etc… Nail polish marks on my the top button area of my shirts, miscellaneous stains have shown up on the front/​pocket areas. I’ve stayed loyal, but a couple of strikes has made me want to look outside this place.

I have been going to this dry cleaners for years in spite of it not being conveniently located to my home. After today, I will never return. I discovered they had stapled the receipt on the bag but through the collar of a silk blouse. I brought it back to show them and was told to leave the blouse and come back tomorrow as they would «iron the holes from the staples out.» Having left work early to arrive prior to closing I refused and asked her to fix it immediately. She did iron the collar though the staple holes are still visible. I expressed my disappointment at how I was being treated as a long time customer and received no acknowledgement. I said «Will I be reimbursed for the cost of the cleaning?» I received no answer except «I’ll tell the girl not to do that again.» A very unsatisfactory and disappointing response. Loyalty is not valued here nor is customer service.

They provide prompt and reliable drycleaning services. The owner, Mrs. Kong, is also a trained seamstress.
