History

Established in 1996.

Drew Johnson got his start as bar manager for Jack’s On Halsted over 15 years ago before becoming a partner. Drew recently became the full owner of Jack’s. After many years of being involved in every aspect of the business, he has decided to give Jack’s a new name and look reflecting himself and his journey.

Drew has faced many challenges the last few years and has managed to keep Jack’s On Halsted a great place to have dinner drinks and late night food. He demands the best service from his staff and ensures that the quality of food is always the freshest and of the highest standard.

Jack’s will now be known as Drew’s On Halsted. Drew is committed to maintaining many of the great qualities that Jack’s was always known for. At the same time bringing the food and service to a higher level creating a modern American bistro. He is committed to keeping Drew’s On Halsted as a local neighborhood and city favorite for years to come.
