This place has a huge selection. Sadly, a majority of their products are not a dollar! Prefer a true dollar store. I love the hunt for a bargain

what is the Dollar General, exactly? Its not a dollar store, although they do try to make you think that. I guess it is better thought of as a larger scale convenience store. They do have a rather good selection of grocery and household items, but unless you want to be adventurous and try the generic brands they sell (I did because I ran out of worcestershire sauce while preparing dinner and the generic stuff was all they had. Verdict — eh), the name brands seem to be slightly higher than the regular prices at Jewel.
But hey, it is convenient and when you are in a pinch it works great! Just dont expect to do your weekly shopping here.
