Deljo’s legacy began when its forebear, Del-Nard Fuel Oil, first set up shop in 1922. Offering complete furnace cleaning and repair services throughout the Chicago area, the company quickly made a name for itself through exceptional customer service and continued to serve the heating needs of its Chicagoland neighbors for the next 60 years, effectively setting the stage for Phase 2 of the brand’s evolution.
In the early 1980s, Bob Clement came into the picture, purchasing the highly respected company and taking the helm. The small five-man operation continued the tradition of excellent service that had marked the Del-Nard name over the years. Sometime later, Bob Clement invited his brother Bill on board, and with the team-up, the business flourished. The joint venture that became a cooperative effort between the two Clement brothers gradually grew into the large family-run operation that Deljo Heating and Cooling has become today.
