Deirdre helps clients sift through their closets to highlight and organize what works – and discard what doesn’t. She also shows clients how to express their best selves by shopping their closets for hidden gems; then she moves on to boutiques and stores to fill in the blanks. If you have something specific you’re looking for, Deirdre is also a savvy personal shopper. Whatever services you choose, Deirdre will help you find a style that best suits you.

History

Established in 2009.

For more than ten years, Deirdre has worked in the world of clothing –learning the ins and outs of retail, hosting trunk shows for fashion designers, and most recently, working as a consultant to guide both men and women to discover their personal styles. Her clients include high-​powered executives, full time moms, and even television personalities, such as Dr. Laura Berman, host of In the Bedroom with Dr. Laura Berman on The Oprah Winfrey Network. What prepared Deirdre for her career in styling? While earning a Masters degree in Education, she worked as an inner-​city school teacher in Chicago. Teaching showed Deirdre how to build upon a student’s strengths in order for him or her to reach their full academic potential. After 8 years of teaching, she decided to pursue her passion of clothing and style. Using the same approach she used with students, Deirdre now shows clients how to build upon their personal style knowledge so that they can reach their goals in terms of dressing.

Deirdre is a 41 year old mother of two, who loves what she does for a living! Deirdre is driven by her passion for helping people. «I love it when people open up, try new things, and take chances. I love it when my clients suddenly see themselves in an entirely new light, or from a completely different perspective. When you find items that make you smile, when you discover the energy that comes from doing something your way, it’s amazing how your inner beauty shines through. That’s what personal style is all about.»
