Located in Chicago’s historic River North district, David Weinberg Photography is an artist-​run space that focuses on exhibiting the work of David Weinberg, showcasing the works of emerging artists through the Coat Check project, hosting photography workshops for Chicago Public School students, and the collaborative experience of arts education at large.

Business Owner

David Weinberg is a photographer born in Chicago where he currently lives and works. Since 2001, when he made the switch from the business world to art, he’s been using photography to explore expansions of true reality. In his most recent works, David uses a narrative approach to capture the blurred figures in Mr. Wild’s Garden and the aimless, floating characters in his infrared photographed Adrift series. Earlier abstract works include compositions of decaying objects, distorted reflections of flowers in copper and mylar, and obscured reflections of architectural structures in his Towering Mirrors, Mirroring Towers series.
