Our practice specializes in supporting parents, adolescents, and children who are experiencing distress. Sometimes events like divorce, trauma, loss, and adjustment to a blended family or a new school spark the problem. As a result, depression, anxiety, temper tantrums, mood swings, bullying, isolation, addiction, and academic failure may emerge. We support people as they overcome these challenges. We believe in the capacity to grow, change, and move towards self-​determined goals.

Working collaboratively with a team of educational therapists, art therapists, and a neuropsychologist, we are committed to the process of implementing evidence based practices that meet our clients’ needs. Finally, we will respond to requests for initial consultations usually within 24 hours.

Meet the Business Owner

Danny G.

Business Owner

Danny Gordon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work from Governors State University. For over 20 years, Danny has been providing academic support and career counseling to adolescents, young adults, and their family members, as well as directing teams of service-​providers in assisting students and high school dropouts of Chicago Public Schools. He also has been providing clinical therapeutic support to individuals and families experiencing both chronic and acute distress. His strengths include: facilitating stronger relationships within families; teaching evidence based mindfulness strategies that help people cope with and overcome mood and anxiety disorders; and supporting people as they adjust to stressful life changes. Finally, Danny is collaborative. Working alongside other helping professionals, he strives to see that his clients’ diverse needs are appropriately met.
