CSW is the best place to get your C-​41 and E6 film processed in Chicago. They will get your film developed within 3 hours like their website says. Have excellent hours and are located in an incredibly convenient location. Osun is an absolute gentleman and is fun to talk to and really helpful when it comes to analog/​film processes. The prices are also excellent, can’t beat this place. SHOOT FILM! GO SEE OSUN! You won’t regret it!

Absolutely love this place! Super friendly staff! Only place you can get same day turn around on developing your film. Always gotten my 35 mm and Medium Format film done here. Super affordable as well, no reason to go anywhere else.

I came here to get a roll of film developed from a camera I wasn’t sure worked. I got super friendly, very fast and pretty cheap service.
This would be my go to place… but…they don’t do digital scans, just developing. If they ever started offering them, I would be here weekly. However, I still recommend it to people when they ask where to get film developed because if you can do your own scans or don’t need them, it really can’t be beat!

Fantastically budget-​friendly and very fast turnaround (three hours — as their site says — is fairly accurate).
I have had some slow, dreary experiences at nearby film processing sites (you might be able to guess where if you look around). CSW was quick all-​around, and made my film shooting seem less like an inconvenience to the establishment and to myself.
… To get in CSW, you will have to be buzzed in. Go to the intercom and hit the pound sign — it will give you a directory of businesses and their codes to request entrance. They really do open at 8:30!

Still use film? Come to CSW! The owner, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. This place offers film processing at an affordable price here in the city. It’s easy to find parking (I’ve pulled into spots at all times of the day) and is entirely accessible via CTA. I came in at 3 o’clock the other day, dropped off 5 rolls of film and get them back at 5:30. You can’t beat that. Fellow artists, we need support places like that!
