History

Established in 2005.

The parent company, ICB, LLC, started in 2001 designs and manufactures Samson Products, a line of recyclable material handling products for the relocation industry. In 2005 in response to mover customer needs CrateXpress was started as a rental operation for the Samson Products lines in addition to other industry standard plastic crates and supplies.

The founder and President, David King, who spent 25 years in Corporate facilities and real estate developed the business focussed on sustainability, process improvement to reduce costs, and value-​add services to allow the corporate client a single point of contact to help manage the move project from inception to move-​in.

David is a licensed Architect, Certified Facility Manager (CFM), licensed real estate broker, and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
