County of Cook Circuit Court Clerk: Branch 43

While I am rating this court «Woohoo! As good as it gets!» I do so hoping NEVER, EVER to return. Sorta like how a cancer patient must feel toward their oncologist after successful treatment.
Located right off the Kedzie –Homan stop, the court is very easy to get to, but difficult to leave for some :) In my «case,» justice was swiftly served and by a cute attorney to boot.
I’d say bring a book, but you’re not allowed to do anything but sit silently while the judge plows through cases. Sit up front if you hope to hear anything, otherwise you ‘ll be bored for awhile. All I caught was «cannabis» followed by «community service» and one «mall fight.» Of course sitting with the accused (yes, witnesses, complainants and the accused all sit together) tends to keep one alert.
