Pros: Great alternative if you can’t find a room in Chicago for the night, they often sell out when conferences are in town. Would be perfect if staying for a longer term period, like over a week. Beautiful view and nicely kept apartment.
Cons: Extremely frustrating because information isn’t always known. Had no idea how to get to parking even though I specifically called and asked where parking was. The answer wasn’t specific enough and if you’re not from the area, you need specifics. I think those workers take for granted they know the area when they describe it.
Ridiculous paperwork wanting you to sign a lease agreement. I’m staying ONE night, not necessary.
Confusing where your room is. The number on the keys is NOT the room number.
What I felt was a rude person at the front desk when I arrived. I mentioned that I was staying for the night and the comment back was: «This isn’t a hotel».
Really?
You work here and you know that there is a separate entity that rents certain apartments out like a hotel would. Any good reason to make that comment and try to make a guest feel stupid and unwelcome? Maybe customer service isn’t for you?
Even though my experience was frustrating, I would recommend this as a backup if you need a place to stay and don’t want to pay $ 300+ for overpriced rooms and the reasonable priced places are booked.
They definitely need some work in dealing with customers and should act more like a hotel if they want the hotel business. I was really missing the amenities, personality and treatment that a hotel provides during my one night stay here. If staying for an extended period, this would be a good option, as well.

i really enjoyed my stay at Habitat Corp Suites (Presidental Towers) it was quiet. they have everythjng you need inside the building, including 24 hour access to Walmart !!! Erica H. was very nice she made booking a stay quiet easy! Christian was also very helpful upon checking in.

If you can stay here — DO IT! My apartment or condo was 33 floors up — had 2 bathrooms…2 bedrooms… a kitchen… and one heck of a family room. The kitchen had full size everything and the living room and bedrooms all had floor to ceiling windows. I really can’t believe this place was the price it was. It’s basically a corporate housing situation and I will say the hallways leave a lot to be desired, but wow… the condo was awesome. The security at this place was great too.
I will say it’s a bit of a pain to get from the condo down to the street level but that’s to be expected. It’s about 10 mins with the elevator wait, walk, etc… Not a big deal though for all you get.
If you’re staying here, skip the front desk people and go towards the right. Walk between the escalators and on your left you’ll find the Habitat desk.

I stayed in here for business for a few days and was extremely comfortable. My room was a suite which was basically like a one bedroom apartment. Very nice.
