Will not be back. Employees seemed far more concerned with ordering chili fries from somewhere that didn’t take cash, than helping customers. I watched the cashier handle money, credit cards, touch her hair multiple times, and cough multiple times, all while serving people baked goods and making coffee/smoothies without washing her hands or wearing gloves. Food is the same in price and quality as Panera, but service makes the difference.

The internet here is ABYSMALLY bad. I was here at 6pm and it took almost 20 minutes to load a single site, and I NEVER got my gmail loaded. Food is solid — similar fare to every CB I’ve visited. Good seating, competent if efficiently brusque staff. But that Internet, friend. Whoo. Not the place to hang out and work.

Corner Bakery in general is fine, I guess. Overpriced but the food is ok if you have no other option. This location is the worst I’ve ever been. Unhappy, unfriendly, and unhelpful employees. Today I was eating lunch and witnessed a customer trip and fall, hard. So hard that customers from across the restaurant ran over to see if he was ok. NOTONEEMPLOYEECHECKEDONHIM. After several minutes of regaining his composure, he left, with blood dripping down his forehead. I spoke to the manager about the lack of response from the restaurant and he said he was with a customer. But where were the other employees? Moral of the story, go anywhere else. I will never go back here again.

The Corner Bakery is basically a less good Panera that is slightly overpriced. I don’t know why they call themselves a bakery, as none of their food is baked here, they are more of a sandwich store with good bread(very similar to Panera in this way). In particular this store seems to hire the least experienced staff I’ve run into. It takes an honest five minutes to order here as they were searching their computers for each item. The food was okay, the«gobbler» sandwich isn’t recommended, its a mush of flavorless junk and a few thick chunks of watery turkey. All this would have made this bakery a middle of the road«pass it if you have better options», but then my gf found paper in her sandwich. Like, cheese separating paper, a whole 2 sheets of it like they didn’t know it was going to be there. She found it when she bit in and all the cheese in her sandwich came sliding out attached to the bite in her mouth. This is a resounding skip it, just go across the street to McDonald’s, you’ll thank me.

Food is okay but for the same price there are much better options in downtown. Service is soooo slow. Have gone the past two days at 7 a.m. and have waited around 10 minutes each time for breakfast. They wait until a couple of orders are ready and bring them out all at the same time so you wait longer than you should for your food.

Finally got a chance to go back with the certificates offered for my poor experience before. I ordered the DC chicken salad sandwich and Caesar salad combo. The food was tasty and the serving size was adequate. What really boosted my rating, was the service. These workers were extremely pleasant today!

Service was pretty awful. The cashier made it pretty clear that she did not want to be working, as she frequently rolled her eyes at both staff and customers and wasn’t friendly. I got soup and salad. The baked potato soup was good. The salad I had was pretty awful. I had their cobb salad(and I guess it doesn’t come with dressing) the lettuce was slimy and tasted sour. I was starving so I ate a few bites before I decided that it just didn’t taste right and wasn’t worth it. I picked off a few of the pieces of bacon and chicken and left the majority of the salad untouched. And I’m glad I did… a few hours later I had awful nausea and a stomachache. I can only imagine how much sicker I might have gotten if I had eaten more than just a few bites of the salad. Two stars for the soup, zero stars for everything else.

This is my Corner Bakery of choice. The employees are friendly and helpful whether you go there in the morning or after work. Their catering service is excellent, and delivered my baked goods for a conference right on deadline. Recommended.

This has now become my go-to Corner Bakery. The staff especially Mychael and Keya, are so pleasant and welcoming and give great suggestions. When I stopped by yesterday, I just wanted something basic and hot. Mychael convinced me to try the lemon orzo soup and it was ahhhhmazing! He has a great way with customers. I love going places where I can find employees like Mychael. Continue the great service :-)

I have only been for breakfast. The last time I was here I ordered the Anaheim Scramble, which is scrambled eggs, applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, green onions, cheddar and avocado. It also comes with oven-roasted potatoes and two slices of toast. Decent breakfast and just the right portion. This location is particularly large with lots of seating. Friendly staff and service is usually pretty quick. I don’t really like their coffee but that’s ok. Overall, decent for breakfast, fast and friendly service.

As I stated in my review, I already submitted my comments through the website Bailey H just linked and also left a phone message almost two weeks ago an never heard a word.

I wanted a salad when I got off work, so I headed to The Corner Bakery to see what they had to offer. Many things on the menu looked good, but I chose the Harvest Time Salad, which contained apple slices and walnuts. Well, what I got was a surprise. I expected to receive more lettuce than anything else, but what I got was a lot of walnuts, too many in fact. I love apples, so I felt I did not get enough apple slices. The currants were good, but I was surprised to see slices of bread in my salad. I was given two large pieces to go with my salad too! I didn’t want bread. Most people want to cut down on their intake of carbohydrates, so I was a little let down. I will probably return; however, to try their other salads. On my next visit I will say, «No bread, please.»

This was a random stop, and right after a weekend lunch rush. We just ordered drinks, but apparently, every day dozens of people order something and then just leave without getting their food. So they gave us both a free sandwich and chips that someone left behind!

After my posting, I was contacted by someone at Corner Bakery to submit my complaint to their website — which I immediately did. That was almost 6 weeks ago and haven’t heard anything back. Very disappointing.

I eat here frequently and it’s usually really good. Today, I go for my beloved loaded baked potato soup to find it barely half full when I get to my desk. Bummer. The soup is excellent, as is the Uptown Turkey sandwich by the way. For one reason or another, I just didn’t get much of it today despite the over $ 5 price tag. Come on guys — I know it’s the middle of summer, but sometimes I need my soup.

Cool place. Looks to be a chain in Chicago. I had a generous slice of lemon cake and a double espresso. While the espresso was decent, it is obviously not the best ever, but I was not expecting that. The cake was pretty good. They also have food. This is one of those places where you order at the register and take a number then you are severed at your table. There is also a nice large outside seating area.

I thought the name was interesting, so I hopped in to order some lunch. Their menu has the«trio» or pick-your-three salad option. After I chose my three salads(the mixed greens, pasta salad, and chicken salad) my dish looked deliciously tempting. Service was quick and efficient. Needless to say, I was very satisfied with my healthy meal, and the busy view from the restaurant window felt nice. Located in a very touristy area, I would visit again if I’m around or I spot this place at the numerous other locations.

Corner Bakery is like Panera Bread Co’s twin. But they aren’t identical twins… just very similar in so many ways. I went with a corner combo: chicken noodle soup and a spinach sweet crisp salad combo. After ordering we looked for a table. The place was PACKED at lunch time on a Saturday. It was beyond cozy to the point of uncomfortable. The three of us had to share a 2 person booth. There was barely enough table room for all our plates when they finally arrived. We each had separate order numbers set up on our tables and food runners brought out our orders when they were ready. I actually placed my ordered first, yet my food arrived almost 10 minutes after my dining partners(and they ordered hot sandwiches and pasta). The chicken noodle soup was eh, I think Panera does it better. The salad: spinach tossed with strawberries, oranges, red grapes, dried cranberries, green onions, creamy goat cheese raisin pecan sweet crisps, and a homemade pomegranate vinaigrette… pretty good. My dining companion with a hot sandwich really enjoyed it, it looked much hardier than Panera’s hot melts. The pasta was also really enjoyed, a good comfort food for a chilly day. Overall, I was a little put off by the service. Especially when I was trying to flag down a food running to find out if my food was on it’s way. The food was okay, but I’d probably pick Panera’s in a blind taste test.

After seeing a show, we were a little hungry and headed here. We were looking for fast, good and not fancy and the Corner Bakery delivered. From sandwiches to soups to salad there is something here for everyone. I had a panini and it was really good(it always is). I forgot the official name but it had chicken with sun dried tomatos(i got the mayo on the side and they gave a soup bowl of mayo… on the side means I only want a little). My wife had the soup with 3 side salads. It was a nice mix of everything. I should have gotten a salad. I was good and brought half of my sandwich home for the next day(my wife got it before me)! I’m still shaking my head!!! Panini thief!!! I did a Unilocal search to bookmark this location and I could not believe how many Corner Bakeries poped up… look out McDonalds and Starbucks. Always good food… made fresh to order!!!
