Compatible Counseling Solutions provides comprehensive assessments to help clients define their service needs and find the best Chicago Therapist or counselor to meet their needs. I maintain a referral network of licensed counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists and psychologists throughout Chicago and the suburbs, who are all committed to providing a collaborative and flexible approach to services that includes ongoing evaluation of progress.
I now also provide ongoing counseling for individuals experiencing life transitions, and pre-marital counseling for couples that want to prepare for a long and happy life together.
As a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator Candidate I frequently use Dr. Brene´Brown’s renowned curriculum, The Daring Way™ in my work with individuals, as well as groups.
History
Established in 2011.
Compatible Counseling Solutions was established in 2011 in order to create a more transparent experience for our clients with the Mental Health field. Services initially consisted exclusively of assessments and referrals, in order to ensure that clients were matched with the best possible therapists to meet their needs.
During the period from 2013 – 2014 Compatible Counseling Solutions piloted a newly developed pre-maritial counseling curriculum, and after receiving positive feedback from participants, integrated it into services.
It was also during this period that Sally Frau participated in the US National Daring Way™ Training, and began integrating this work into ongoing services with individuals and groups.

Business Owner
Sally Frau, LCSW, is the Director of Compatible Counseling Solutions. Sally graduated from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration in 1990 and has over 25 years of experience in counseling individuals and families, and in providing supervision and consultation to Chicago therapists and counselors.
Sally’s theoretical background is in Solution Focused and Family Systems work. Her orientation is to enhance each person’s ability to resolve issues and concerns independently and to work collaboratively with them as partners rather than patients. As a a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator-Candidate, Sally is authorized to provide services using The Daring Way™, Dr. Brene´Brown’s renowned curriculum for helping individuals and groups move toward authentic and wholehearted living.
