Established in 2012.

Clean Healthy Smiles was born as a result of patients telling us what wasn’t working for them in a traditional Dentist’s office.

We’ve realized is there aren’t a lot of choices available. The one thing all traditional dental offices have in common is that they focus on the practice of dentistry – the treatment of dental disease.

At Clean Healthy Smiles, we believe everyone should take care of their mouth and maintaining good oral hygiene in order to prevent dental disease. Most oral problems are not easily detected by the untrained eye until they’re highly advanced. At that point, you’re looking at thousands of dollars worth of dental care. The best way to prevent diseases of the mouth is to have your teeth (and gums!) professionally cleaned at least twice a year. We’ve created an office that is dedicated to just that, cleanings.

Dr. Daniel K.

Business Owner

Dr. Daniel was born and raised in Palatine, IL. He graduated from Northwestern University Dental School in 1992.

The doctor spends numerous hours attending continuing education programs, seminars and conferences. He is a member of American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society.

Dr. K lives in Palatine with his wife and two children. He is active in USA swimming, and volunteers his time as a swimming official.

I highly recommend this place for all of your dental needs! I got the groupon for a dental check-​up, including x-​rays and flouride, and was very pleased when they did not push any extra unnecessary services on me (always something I worry about when using a groupon)! I consistently get cleanings every 6 months and my teeth have never felt cleaner after going here. Every person that I dealt with was extremely friendly and they offer cleanings at $ 69, which is great since I don’t have dental insurance.

This is by far the best cleaning I’ve ever had. I’ve had a constant fear of the dentist (most of us have) bit this place put my fears at ease. Their equipment they used for my deep cleaning is state of the art and my teeth felt great afterwards. There was none of the throbbing i was used to with my other dentist. Everyone there provided excellent customer service. I think I’ve found my new dental home :) thanks again for such a pleasant experience and on top of everything they honored my expired groupon without a problem!

Had such a great experience here! First time coming and was able to fill out all the paper work online ahead of time. As soon as I got there I signed a couple papers and they took me right back. No waiting!
The dentist came over within moments to greet himself and actually did the cleaning. I found this unusual but a great attribute to this place! Every single person was a pleasure to be around. They are competent, kind and efficient! Definitely going back!

CHS is simply the best!
I saw the Groupon online but then decided to check their website and realized that they give the exact same offer of $ 69 for first time patients so I went straight there.
The place is really nice and neat as has already been mentioned, and technology is top notch. Sandy (my assistant for the day) was very professional and very cute. :-)
The cleaning was awesome. I had some stains on my teeth and I’m not sure how they got there but the dentist was able to get them all. I also got some swag of a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and water bottle.
They really exceeded my expectations, and needless to say. I’ll be going back here for my next cleaning!

I had a great experience, here! One of the best cleanings I have ever had. I had recently moved to Chicago and was looking for a new dentist and this place was fantastic! They were helpful, kind and genuinely care about the health of your mouth. The office was really clean, well-​lit and professional and they were definitely using the most up to date technology. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend this place.

I think… no, more like I KNOW where my go to dentist office is! I had such an amazing experience here at Clean Healthy Smiles.
Before my appointment: I purchased a living social deal for I believe $ 70 which included: x-​rays, deep teeth cleaning, gums check up, fluoride coating and more. (Get the deal if you can!!) The service to book an appointment is fast and effective, you just email them and suggest available times and they’ll contact you within 48 hours with dates and time that are close to your date. I was fortunate that because of my finals studying week and vacation, they pushed me up and let me come in a late evening after a patient was unable to make it. In addition, you also can fill out your patient info on the site which expedites the process.
The day I came in I was greeted with open arms. I immediately met the dentist who was going to be serving me. I got a tour of the facility and given a pretty neat swag bag which came with a water bottle, toothbrush, toothpaste and floss! Each aspect of this checkup was relaxing, calming and reassuring. I felt a sense of familiarity and the dentist answered every question I had.
I highly recommend them! Even though I got this $ 300 service for only $ 70 through living social, that doesn’t mean that they gave me $ 70 service, I am sure that they provided all the great service as any of their patients. I am glad i found them and glad to have found my go to dentist.

This office is WONDERFUL! I stumbled upon this place after seeing their $ 49 teeth cleaning sign in the window. I was a little apprehensive at first, but once I walked in I knew this place was legit. I was scared to schedule an appointment because I had just seen another dentist, on a Groupon for a teeth cleaning and x-​rays and was told I needed 1,000’s of dollars of work done, including a «deep-​cleaning.» I decided to schedule the appointment anyways because for $ 49, what did I have to lose?
I told Dr. Konishi of my situation, and she was more than happy to help and make me feel at ease. Both her and Michelle Kirby, the RDH, meticulously took the time to measure and document pockets to check for gum disease. This was the first time I’ve ever had this done. Both decided that I should have x-​rays done, which was an extra $ 20 and I was more than happy to do so. After the x-​rays, they told me that all I would need was a good cleaning! I was so relieved! Ms. Kirby spent almost two hours cleaning and polishing my teeth. My appointment was scheduled for 5, an hour before they closed. For both to stay and extra hour after office hours to make sure my teeth were perfect was going above and beyond!
I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good cleaning! Thank you Clean Healthy Smiles!

Absolutely wonderful. I walked in and was seated immediately — didn’t even have to sit in the lobby. The office was clean and modern. Dr. Sam Cho was gentle, positive and understanding. She gave great advice and wasn’t pushy or condescending. She checked often to make sure I was comfortable and that I wasn’t in pain. I left the dentist in a positive mood — and that just about never happens. Just wonderful.

I just finished my first routine cleaning at CHS. I’m not sure which feels better– my teeth or my wallet! I knew this place had a different philosophy in providing more affordable care for the sake of a more proactive/​preventative approach (less expensive = people come more frequently = better results). But coming from a rather modern, high end dental practice I wasn’t sure if I would see a corresponding drop in quality. The experience was nothing but 10’s, however. The sleek, clean look of the facility inspires confidence with out being uncomfortable. The staff does justice to the name, greeting you with smiles, more importantly the care was top notch and most importantly was less than HALF the price of what I was used to paying.
I also have to add, not being one who has embraced public transportation, parking was VERY easy. This really isn’t any thing the business has done right (unless the chose the location for its access to easy street parking) but is a big deal for me.
However I’m not used to writing reviews where I note nothing to be improved so… hmmm… The free tooth brush I got in my goodies bag was blue-​green and my favorite color is green-​blue?
