Board certified in addiction psychiatry, addiction medicine, and a certified group psychotherapist, I provide a comprehensive, individualized treatment approach to patients with addiction and related problems. With additional certification in psychosomatic medicine and general psychiatry, I also have extensive experience in treating patients with anxiety, trauma, and depression without addiction.

History

Established in 2014.

Before moving my practice to Chicago last July in 2014, I had attained the rank of Associate Professor of Psychiatry as faculty with the University of Louisville Department of Psychiatry, where I had resided for my entire career since finishing residency in 2001. My philosophy is that the foundation of successful is treatment is the physician patient relationship. Therefore, when working with anyone, my goal is to become intimately connected to my patients in the service of their care. Group psychotherapy, individual psychotherapy integrated with medication management frequently provide the template or vehicle in this process.
