Ordered the house salad. Can’t go wrong with a simple salad so I can’t attest much for the food quality. The worst part of the meal– the waitress crapped her pants or was crop dusting me. This shit smell followed her around. Had to keep burying my nose in my scarf.

I give this place no stars. It is a horrible place. Bad service, bad food, and all over dirty.

We go here among all of the choices because we think«hey, it’ll be solid». The host was sitting on her behind at a small table near the front. No idea she was the host because a. She was sitting down and b. She was irritated to have a job apparently. So we approached the front and the friendly lady at the checkout counter offered to help us and the lazy hostess claimed seating as her job. She said«come here» and approached the table and threw the menus on the table from about 3 feet away. While impressed with her aim, no so impressed with the bad customer service. Our waiter, a middle aged fit gentleman with an accent, was pretty good. Friendly, informative but somewhat brisk in his service. We got that, they started closing down the section we were sitting in as we were finished up. The hostess wrecked our experience for sure.

Look, it’s Chili’s. You probably already know if you’re going to like it. Personally, I’m not a big fan, but I’ll say one thing for this particular Chili’s: it came through when we needed it. With everything else at O’Hare seemingly closing up by 9:30, I really appreciated that Chili’s stays open serving food and drink until midnight. We didn’t get food, but the margaritas came through when they were most needed(that is, shortly after it was announced that our flight was delayed). My Presidente Margarita was pretty disappointing — it had almost no flavor, and needed some extra lime to salvage it(hey, I’m not above drinking alcoholic lime juice). That said, it WAS large and reasonably strong, which was probably the most important criterion for an airport Margarita. However, my wife’s El Nino Margarita was actually pretty tasty. It was a bit sweet, and loaded with orange juice, but the flavors were good, and it was definitely refreshing. Hopefully I won’t find myself stuck at O’Hare late at night again any time soon, but if I do, a trip back to Chili’s will probably be in order.

15 minutes for a drink. 45 minutes for food. Enough said.

Wow! Line out the door so I left my husband holding our place in line while I sought out any other options for lunch. Walked passed the dining area and viewed 4 — 2 tops sitting empty. Couldn’t find another option so returned to my husband still waiting in line. Waiter offered us two seats at bar so we took them. Bar smelled like stale beer. Staff behind bar was in the weeds trying to take care of restaurant drink orders. No one ever greeted us or wiped down our section from the previous diners. Asked manager who was walking by if we could have a menu. She said bartender would provide for us. Never got greeted or a menu. LEFT.

Can I give it a zero? Where to start. Took 15 mins to get a server. Never asked how we are doing and could hardly understand her through her accent. I can get past the accent np was just hard to understand, but the food was gross I got some pork tacos that were ice cold. Took another ten mins to check on us, by then I gave up on trying to get new actual warm food. Then when the bill was dropped of, there was zero communication(pay her or the cashier or even any hint) so then I needed change for a 20 $ went to the bar, it took ten mins to get service(as she was busy washing glasses/watching the game) and when I asked for change the female bartender scoffed saying we don’t have a no sale button to open the register and I would have to buy something…(I already had a table!!!) also I’ve worked for this horrible Corp, and YES their system has the button, she just LIED and wanted more sales. So then I walked away approached a manager for change and he literally rolled his eyes at me. Snagged my 20 $ and walked away. He brought me 4 – 5 $ and I needed singles. What a joke he was… Rude and can’t get correct change, glad he’s a manager… :(needless to say, don’t even give the place a shot, the only thing good, was the game on TV. Btw I work in a high end Mexican joint nowdays, so customer service is number one to me, this place was a joke experience from start to finish. For those who found my review funny. Haha you probably work for the company’s location and are trying desperately to make me look like the fool in this situation. I was as nice as can be even after this horrible experience(still gave 17.5% w horrible service) Let’s just say that if I were CFO I would secret shop the heck outta this place. You will see their incompetence…

NO no no no. When did chills think it would be good to put their calorie count on their menu items? Some things should be kept secret, especially in gross dirty airport restaurants. No redeeming qualities. Everything is much much greater than 1000 calories. Just eat candy. Turn around. Save yourself.

Well, the bad reviews were right. This was right next to my gate though, so I gave it a shot anyway thinking, Chili’s is sort of decent, how bad can it be? Well: — Rude hostess who seemed to sigh around and be bothered to seat customers — Limited menu(not the full Chili’s offering, mostly just sandwiches and burgers) — Server got the order wrong, included toppings I specifically requested be left off — Food was cold; parts of my black bean burger and its bun actually tasted like they’d been in a refrigerator — Never offered a refill — Took a really long time to be brought the check after asking for it Take the extra few steps past the gate and eat somewhere else.

I started this review in February of 2012, and now it’s July of 2015 and I’m finishing it. My only notes? I remember there was a Polish waitress that was really nice, and that the beers were expensive. What more review can you get of an airport Chili’s, eh?

I hate to use it, but«It is what it is». We went here because we had 45 minutes, wanted food, and wanted a beer. The place was packed full, but we still got a seat in under a minute, food in under 10 minutes, and were out the door in under 30 minutes. So, what’s the problem? 1) The tables are so packed together that you have to ask people to move to get out from you seat. 2) I ordered a house salad, add chicken, and a BOWL of soup. I got the soup and salad combo, which is a smaller salad and a cup of soup. That’s fine if I wanted to save money, but I was hungry and wanted what I ordered(makes sense, right)? 3) it’s chilis, so 5 stars isn’t possible and I’m knocking off a star for the 2 reasons above

Congratulations, Chili’s, you managed to achieve the worst customer service of any establishment in any airport I’ve ever visited. Your hostess, who was propped up against the host stand seemingly contemplating a thousand other places she’d rather be, did not even acknowledge the presence of my father and I, despite us being about three feet in front of her face. When she finally came to, she greeted us with a traditional Chicago inner-city«How many». I can’t implement a question mark because frankly it was more of a disgruntled statement than a question. She led us to our table where she literally threw the menus three feet on to the table, then promptly turned and left without saying anything. Of said menus, they were rubbed and worn to the point where the ink and images had vanished. There were literally large spaces of white where menu items should normally appear. So, we left. Chili’s has managed to seek out and find the least qualified staff and put forth the absolute minimum level of effort in this establishment. They know that desperate travelers will still show up and pay them, so why try harder? Not only will I never return to this particular restaurant, I will never visit another Chili’s in my life. You are an embarrassing shell of what your restaurants used to be and your personnel as represented during my visit should be ashamed to collect money for what they see as «work».

Considering this is one of the better restaurants at this airport, their fish was actually really good. The service was poor, and I blame that on them only having a couple servers for being as packed as it was. Maybe they will hire some more staff and my next experience will be better and which I’ll change my review from three stars to four or five. I’ll try back here this weekend when I’m traveling.

Listen, i get it. Airport common area franchise bar/restaurant within AA terminal. However, I’ve never had a bad visit and the food is always hot, service is spot-on for what i would expect at airport and drinks always make the airport more tolerable. I usually avoid lunch since its packed. However breakfast is a highlight for me. Servers are extra friendly in the morning, as its not packed yet. Food comes out hot and delicious, I’ve never had a reason to complain. SW style breakfast always hits the spot after getting up too damn early and even the coffee isn’t all that bad! Eggs are not forgiving, and mine are always perfect and the rest of the other ingredients are fresh! Don’t let a few(maybe fair) reviews turn you away, this is NOT«airport craptacular», in fact i find it to be an oasis from the reality of the airport!

Decent chili’s… service was not bad, and food was as expected, but they didn’t toast the bun on my burger. … who doesn’t do that? !

Not sure if this is the one in the AMERICAN Terminal, but avoid at all costs. Better service at Mcdonalds. The bar here is awful and run by fools. Don’t know how to serve beers in a timely manner or even take food orders. Avoid unless your looking to miss your flight for overpriced beers and mediocre meals.

It’s Chili’s like we have all had before but with a limited menu. But the reason I liked this place was its prices were actually reasonable compare to every other place trying to rip you off in the airport.

Bad. The last time I was here(2 weeks ago) I tipped $ 20 on $ 18 bill. This time the waitress didn’t stay for 1 second between dropping off my appetizer and turning around and leaving. I was trying to get her attention a few more times to order a sandwich. No refill of iced tea until I was leaving. Then she didn’t pick up my card to ring me out for over 5 minutes. I never tip $ 1. Well, only in extreme circumstances of a server not caring.

All you need to know: 1. Food was fine, basic Chili’s menu, as offered is as you get it. Burgers are well-done though — don’t expect anything custom there. 2. Service was also fine — actually very fast when I visit. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Attentive to free refills also. 3. Busy and generally noisy, in other words like every other place you’d eat at ORD.

I had a few hour layover in the Chicago Airport so I needed somewhere to chill and grab some dinner. This place was close to my gate and their burgers are usually good so I stopped in. Good people watching. The burger probably would have been better if it was actually warm. I t seemed like they made the burger somewhere else and put it on the bun at the place. The fries were super hot and deliciously seasoned though. I ordered a: Southern Smokehouse Bacon Burger With four slices of applewood smoked bacon, melted cheddar cheese, Chili’s BBQ sauce, mayo & freshly made crispy onion strings. I got a: Bacon Cheese Burger with a side of BBQ sauce Oh well, it is airport food.
