History

Established in 1998.

The Chicago School of Music began in Pipers Alley in heart of Old Town in 1998. In 2001 we moved to Chicago and Halsted where we grew our business for the next eleven years. In 2012 we moved to a brand new and more centralized location for our students and families at 900 N Franklin.

Business Owner

I have been playing and have been involved with music my whole life. I graduated from the University of Cincinnati College-​Conservatory where I studied guitar.

After teaching and performing in Chicago, I found that there was a great need for a secondary music education school that really focused on each individual student but was also not limited to one particular style. I started the Chicago School of Music with idea the learning music can and should embody basic fundamentals but it can also be fun.

It has been such a privilege to have worked with very talented teachers who have reached thousands of students. I love teaching and helping students who are passionate about music achieve their goals.
