Good. Has sufficient parking. Decent selection of books. What I don’t like is that it is extremely cold in here! It’s never cold when I go to Toman or Harold. A t-shirt is not sufficient if you’re going to stay any length of time. Long sleeves or sweater is recommended. You might get a cold in the middle of summer if you don’t– like I did.

This is the CPL branch closest to me. The old location was a teeny tiny storefront, so this building is much bigger and much nicer. It seems if you go on Fridays they have a big selection of museum passes in. Always free wi-fi and a pretty quiet work space. In my experience, if you request a book on hold here, you get it pretty quickly. Definitely quicker than that… lincoln park branch… There are some very helpful librarians there too.

What an awesome branch, it even hosts a friendly security guard! A nice change from the McDonald’s that use to be here. This is much better for the community! The building itself is fresh and modern. A pleasant place to relax, and those ceiling windows help to shed some more light on reading and research :)… CPL also has a free wifi signal available for those with laptops. It’s always a pleasure to pop in whenever i visit my former neighborhood.
