Chase

Larger location compared to others I’ve seen in Chicago, but the parking lot is small and tight.
The location doesn’t look too safe.
Withdraw your money and lock your car door fast.

I love Chase and this location is almost as good as the one on Clark, but not quite. First off the customer service is always great no matter what Chase I go to. Maybe its because I see the difference between the other mega bank, BofA, but Chase definitely outshines.
Bonus: the ATMs here actually take the cash I put in. The ones downtown usually spit a few bills out when I try to make a deposit forcing me to go to a teller and great them with fury. Sorry, guys!
The location could be better but the customer service validates it.

The Chase. That’s what the idiots at this Chase branch had me on when I presented to simply cash a check drawn on an account at their bank.
You know how to cash a check, right? In America, usually all you have to do is take the check to your own bank or the bank from which it’s drawn, present your identification and off you go on your merry way with cash in hand. Is that how they do it at this Chase? No, sir.
I went in thinking I was simply going to cash a check. I went up to the teller, handed her the signed check with my identification, and she told me she’d have to get Donald to handle it. Okay. I assumed he’d just take a look at the check, give it his approval and off we’d go. No, that wasn’t the case.
I had to go with Don to his desk, sit down and listen to his sales pitch on starting an account with Chase. What? I must either look very gullible or like I have money coming out of my ears. The guy wouldn’t stop. I listened for 60 seconds and told him I’d just be taking the cash and would be fine with my current account elsewhere. Don (Donald K.) acceded and got up to get my cash. I told him I wanted all 20s. Smooth sailing, right? No.
Donny comes back with Branch Manager Nicole in tow with my cash. Nicole counts out my cash in C-​notes (likely purposely) and then starts up on her own pitch to get me to sign up for a new account. Good grief, these idiots can’t take no for an answer and refuse to listen to their customers. I told her I wasn’t going to be opening a new account and that I wanted the cash in 20s.
Finally, Nicole comes back with the cash in 20s, making eyes simultaneously like she can’t believe I won’t open a new account and begging me to sign up. The answer is still no. Same as it was 10 minutes ago the first time you people asked me.
I scooped up my cash, shook both of their hands and walked out.
Apparently, banks are desperate for new business these days. Guess what? Should I ever transfer accounts, it surely won’t be with Chase thanks to these clowns.
I’ll say the same thing they likely said to each other once I departed the bank.
Idiots.
