Charbella Hair, Barber & Spa

This place is a mess, just filthy and the owner and staff are very unwelcoming. I had to explain to the barber what a fo-​hawk fade was. Yes, this REALLY COMMON HAIRCUT HAD TO BE EXPLAINED TO A BARBER! After about 20 minutes of telling him what I wanted he gave me a buzz cut. I was so furious I told the owner about it and she said my next hair cut would be $ 10 (regularly $ 20).
10 $ haircut in boys-​town is hard to come by so I had to go there again. This time the haircut wasn’t so bad. He apologized and did a pretty good job because he knew he messed up but the SHITTY OWNER STILL CHARGED ME THE REGULAR PRICE!!! At this point I didn’t even bother arguing with the owner because the barber did a decent job.
I decided to give it yet another chance (there isn’t many barber shops in boys-​town that cost under $ 30). I called the barber shop to make an appointment with the barber at 10am. The owner said he would be there. I show up and what a shocker he isn’t there! I had an interview later that day so I had no choice to get a haircut with another barber. This barber said he has done the fo-​hawk fade 100 times but he still managed to screw it up. It was crooked, choppy, patchy just horrible. Then, the owner tried telling me that there is a $ 5 extra charge for using visa which is complete bull shit because they have never charged me that!
To sum it up the barbers aren’t the most intelligent bunch and your haircut will come out patchy and uneven. The owner is rude and makes up charges! This place is definitely a front for some sketchy shit!
My advice to the barber who usually cuts my hair: You did a pretty good job after knowing you messed up. Stick to giving that time and effort to your customers and get out of that god forsaken place!

By far the single worst haircut of my life. I have lived in 4 different cities since graduating college and visited many different barbers/​salons, this is by far THE WORST (yes caps). I had to go around the corner to get it fixed by someone who can actually cut hair. I am pretty sure this place is either a front for another business or they only do mustache trims, because they can’t cut hair, fact! Uneven, choppy, brutal. I had to walk out halfway through the cut. A good word to describe what happened to my head… mutilated. I would stay far, far away from this place. I hope it goes out of business or the person who cut my hair goes bald tomorrow. I have to give a presentation tomorrow, thank you in advance for putting a halt on my career at such a young age.
