I’ve been meaning to Unilocal this place for months. We were pressured to pick out paint colors when buying our condo conversion and had no idea where to start. Basically we didn’t have time to select samples or paint on the walls or even poster board and did everything from swatches and Benjamin Moore’s virtual room design online. All of that to say that we weren’t going to buy the paint ourselves and went to this store primarily to select swatches. The customer service was exceptional and it was clear the owner knows paint and good customer service. We’ll definitely go back when we need paint in the future!

The guys at CG paint are amazing. We have bought so much paint here it’s insane. They helped us pick the right grey color which saved us so much headaches. We should’ve asked from the start! We went with the two colors they suggested. So friendly too. Honestly these guys are awesome and super knowledgeable. Highly recommend without a doubt. They helped us carry the paint to the car and they will mix up what you want if you call ahead.

I can’t say enough about this place. These guys are fantastic. They’re my new go-​to for paint, and all things «home repair». You can tell they take pride in their business… and are very trustworthy. They didn’t try to upsell me, stick me with products I didn’t need, etc. They even sent me home with a sanding block without paying because I didn’t have cash. I came back the next day to buy paint so paid for it then, but their willingness to take care of the customer over turning a profit is a rare find these days. Highly recommended!

These guys rock. Hi positive energy from the minute you walk in. Helpful, knowledgable professionals with the scars and experience to back up their expertise and advise. They can hook you up with contractors, talk you though some tips for your projects and will do anything else they can for you. Tops folks, top recommendation! Carry Benjamin Moore brand.

The guys at CG were fantastic. I bought paint from them to paint my place in 2008. Yesterday, I went in with a can that was leftover from way back then and asked them if it was still good. They checked it out and said it was fine. Saved me 40 bucks! I bought another gallon and I was on my way in 10 minutes. They even carried the paint out to my car against my protests.
These guys understand customer service. Don’t waste your time going to Home Depot and getting crap paint. Get the good stuff here!

I was directed here by my contractor to select stain for our concrete flooring. Fredy (and Andres, too) is super helpful. He went above and beyond in assisting me as I flip flopped on what color to choose. He made sure to get me samples of a few different colors. A great little shop that can easily go unnoticed. I tend to prefer small neighborhood shops to the big box Home Depot and Menard’s type store… C&G has fair prices and an accommodating staff. I will definitely shop here in the future for any paint needs we have,

This is a great little paint shop that’ll most likely have what you need. I was impressed with the staff here. They were very friendly and helpful. The prices aren’t too bad either, definitely better than any of the large home improvement chains. I don’t need paint or paint supplies often, but next time I do I’ll definitely stop by here first.

My husband and I were in the market for some paint when we stumbled upon the Living Social deal for this place. Neither of us has painted a house on our own and were painting novices, to be generous. The guys who work here are fabulous! Not only did they save us from buying the more expensive paint that we didn’t need, but they made sure we had the right finish for what we needed and the smallest number of cans to get the job done well. I can’t comment on their prices, but with two deals ($ 50 worth of paint for $ 25) we walked out of there with six large cans of paint for a total of $ 100 ($ 50 for the deals and $ 50 at the store).
Side note: They have a parking lot across the street — don’t pay for parking!

Just went to pick up some paint from CG today and it reminded me how much nicer it is to do business with the local [insert business here] store rather than a big box place like Home Depot. I walked in, they greeted me at the door and told me the paint I needed and the type of brush that would do the best job for what I needed. They even downgraded me to a cheaper option after thinking about it for a minute. I would still be waiting for someone to help me if I’d gone to HD.

I was frantically looking for some chalkboard paint, when my handy iphone told me to visit them. It was a Sunday at 10am and I walked up and it was not yet open. As I was looking in the window, a car drove up with a family in it. The man stopped his car, parked it and opened the store just for me. Clearly he was spending his Sunday morning with his family and they weren’t open yet. He took the time to help me find what I need and the price was right.
From now on when I need paint, I will go here.

I have worked with freddy at C&G for years… a little secret, they will also deliver, which is great for big orders. Sometimes, they don’t have time to deliver. Prices are great for Benjamin Moore paint, and they will go to great lengths to help you out with color/​finish/​etc. Also will hold stuff for you so you can send someone to pick up if need be.

These guys are great, not only does it feel great to support such a great local business, it is a cool local business, and the people here are SO nice and helpful.
For some stupid reason we went to home depot to buy paint, and the paint people there tried telling my wife and me that we used the wrong paint for our outdoor wood chairs (that we should have used latex instead of oil). Anyways, we tore out of there and went straight to CG where we bought what we needed, and the recommendation for paint worked great!

Used to live right down the block when I started going here. Now if a job is anywhere nearby C.G. is my first stop. These guys hustle like you wouldn’t believe… often waiting at your vehicle with everything you’ve just bought before you’ve even paid. Full line of Benjamin Moore products at a fair price.

Small little shop hidden away on a corner…
They carry Benjamin Moore paints, as well as other top brands in other items (polyurethanes, stains, etc).
Their pricing was pretty good, on a gallon of decent quality Benjamin Moore it was better than you’d probably find at Home Depot. ($ 15 + $ 1 for the color). I picked up a decent brush (not the cheapest, not the most expensive) for $ 3, again cheaper than HD probably.
Their hours cater to painting professionals more than DIYers (7 – 5 daily, not sure if they’re open on the weekends).
I went before work and they had a few customers, but I was in and out in a hurry… there were two workers. They mixed a specific color for me and I was in and out probably sooner than I would’ve found someone to help me at the Home Depot paint counter.
Both very friendly.
