Casa Spazio

Ran into this beautiful store while walking around River North. Mike and Carrianne helped throughout the design, selection and installation phases. Computer rendering of our condo with the furniture left little doubt as how the place will end up looking. We couldn’t be happier with the end result. Pretty much furnished our whole condo from Casa Spazio and will undoubtedly be repeat customers. Great shopping experience and is highly recommended. Thank you Mike, Carianne and Katie.

Quick notes on furniture shopping:
I learned of Casa Spazio from the lounge setup at Expo Chicago at Navy Pier. I went in to the store a few days later and really patient, friendly service. I loved two of their sofa pieces with movable backs and the flexibility on customizing it. Prices were competitive for the european contemporary style. The downstairs area had sale pieces too. I got a different sofa from elsewhere, but this place was on my top 5 after looking at about 30 stores.

I rarely, if ever, write reviews. However, after a miserable experience trying to order a couch at Gold and Williams, I got very lucky to meet Rick Sword of Casa Spazio. I bought a couch for my Florida home through Rick. The service, price and quality was so great that I bought a second couch for my Chicago home and will surely be working with Rick as I redo my place here.

Casa Spazio was recommended to me by another River North furniture store. It is a welcome alternative to their fashionable but pricey neighbors Lignet Roset and Roche Bobois. Having been to several other stores I instantly felt at home in the store and was impressed with the variety of their collection. I quickly found a cabinet that fit my need. Mike was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful in the decision process. Two high points: variety of finishes and features and the design eye of Mike who guided me to the proper shade of gray (they had at least 3) that came in both matte and glossy, when I showed him my wall color sample. I was considering buying stacked cabinets (more commission for Mike) and he persuaded me to go simple and have one long row given all the other considerations including the size of the art piece above. I very much appreciated the guidance. Having done some comparison shopping I am very happy with the purchase. So happy I did not go to any other store when we decided to replace an existing chair with a wider piece for two people. With the help of Rick, we selected a beautiful piece that would be at home in a modern setting or, in our case, a somewhat more traditional/​mid-​century look. They were able to swap out the chrome legs for an elegant wood rail, reduce the seams on the piece to create one solid cushion, and they had 3 different reds, two of them had the OK from our designer. I could not be happier about the design of both pieces and the pricing. I’ll Unilocal again they both arrive since we all know final delivery completes the experience. I highly recommend Casa Spazio.
