The Federal Savings Bank is owned and operated by the same people who have protected our country. Many of our employees and clients are Veterans that have served in various branches of the military. I’m a seasoned expert who has held leadership positions with various lenders. Established a career as a top producing manager with a book of business that includes high net worth clients, business professionals and seasoned Real Estate investors. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana/​Champaign. Following college I worked in Sales for a Fortune 500 company but decided to look for a different trade where I would have a larger impact on my community. That’s when I discovered the mortgage industry and instantly fell in love with the direct interaction with clients while helping them achieve the important milestone in their lives that is home ownership. As my clientele grows, I’ve expanded products beyond traditional home mortgages and became proficient with complex commercial, SBA and portfolio mortgage loans. I’m currently expanding my team of Mortgage Bankers throughout the Chicago area.

I highly recommend The Federal Savings Bank! My client used The Federal Savings Bank for his recent transaction. My client was a first time home buyer taking advantage of the Welcome Home (IHDA) grant money. His lenders, Camilo Rodriguez and Dino Schulatz, were fantastic.
The Federal Savings Bank kept my client’s attorney and me in the loop on the process (ie reserving the IHDA funds, underwriting…), so we were prepared ahead of time. This made everything a lot easier at the closing table.

Working with Camilo was nothing but easy. He was confident that he could get me a loan for a non-​warrantable high-​rise luxury condo, and he did it in less than 30 days. Nobody else could get it done and despite the long distance, he was an ease to work with out of state. Other than the obvious competence to get it done quickly, he took the time to personally call me throughout the entire process. He also responded to my phone calls and emails promptly. My husband and I used Security National Mortgage to secure the loan for our first home, which we purchased last February. From the begining of our initial discussions, Camilo was extremely thorough when explaining the various options we had for a mortgage, taking time to completely understand our current financial situation, as well as our future plans for the home. His recommendations in regards to the type of loan and the timing of the application were spot on, and allowed us to take advantage of a fantastic rate. We were under contract on our property for longer than the standard amount of time, and Camilo and his associate Andres were both awesome about getting back to us right away when we had questions or concerns.
The thing I appreciated most about working with Security National was that, although this was the first home we had ever purchased and were were totally new to this process, there were zero surprises; my husband and I both felt comfortable and well informed all the way through from the time got the pre-​approval to the first payment we made. A few months ago I was looking to refinance my townhome in the city since I saw that rates dropped substantially from my initial purchase 4years ago. I was referred to Camilo at Security National through a co-​worker. I called my existing lender as well as Security National to compare the 2 companies and see what types of rates and programs each had available for me. Camilo was extremely responsive, professional and thorough (in his explanation). My existing lender took a few days to get back to me– advantage Security National. They both presented their rates and estimates — Security National was lower by about half a percent — again point for Security National. Not only did Camilo find me the better deal he provided better service than my current lender. It was an easy decision for me to choose Security National for me refi.
Despite refinancing typically being a confusing and cumbersome process, he and his team ensured that the deal was executed smoothly keeping me informed along the way. I highly recommend Camilo and the team at Security National Mortgage for low rates, excellent service and a high degree of professionalism.
