I’m not a BK fan, but I was in the area and starving. The dude at the register was unbelievably polite and courteous. The food was ready fast, and was served hot and fresh. The original fries are superb. Maybe my experience was the exception, but I’m surprised the current rating is only 1.5 stars.

THEABSOLUTEWORST. This place usually has painfully slow service, but this past visit was horrific. Had to repeat my order several times and they still got it completely wrong! Also the food itself was terrible. I get that you can’t expect a lot from fast food, but this was below fast food quality. The buns were stale and I think the nuggets had been sitting out all day. Replace this place with Chick fil a!!!

This BK is sorely understaffed. It takes forever to place your order and to get your food. Update 10−11−14: I noticed, about 10 days ago, that there was more staff. The wait was shorter … in line other fast food restaurants. So I was going to raise my rating from 1 to 2 stars. Unfortunately, the trash can just outside was overflowing as usual. BK trash was on the sidewalk and in the curb gutter. Too bad. They need to realize that the VAST majority of the trash in that bin is from their customers and take ownership. If they start doing that, I will give this place 3 stars.

This Burger King is a HUGE joke. The business is clearly under staffed, and they can’t figure out orders out of the three different items I asked for; they simply struggle. I will never go back to this Burger King. If I was the owner – I would take a serious look at my management staff.

I asked for cheese and they forgot to put it on the burger. This is normal for this Burger King. Not good.

I came in here for a smoothie. Couldn’t tell where the line was or who already ordered. I stood behind someone who was placing her order with the cashier. After that customer finished, she walked away and the cashier went to the back. By then another cashier came & took someone else’s order even though I was already standing there. I left and walked a few blocks down and went to 711 for a Slurpee instead.

I came here at 9am today and figured I’d hit the drive thru since I had just gotten off of work. Wanted to try the«bacon gouda» muffin… Well, they weren’t even open and not only were there employees waiting out there to try and get in, but I witnessed no less than 10 customers try and come, and no one seemed to know what was going on. They weren’t even open. Come on people, get it together! One of the workers said«Maria» was supposed to open… This is two hours after they were supposed to be open! It’s not like someone was a couple minutes late but they just weren’t open at all! Out of the customers that tried to show up in the short time I stood outside I’m guessing they would have rang at least $ 100, so I hope the owner is aware of this. I finally gave up, and drove a few extra miles out of my way to the BK on Western and Diversey and was greeted by a really friendly eager staff but alas, the«bacon gouda» muffin sandwich was by far the greasiest nastiest breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. So much for wanting to try something new, and to horrible results. As far as the BK on Fullerton, get your shit together! I drove out of my way for a shitty sandwich — would have been happy to get the same shitty sandwich right by my house without the extra trip if you just would have at least been open, dumbasses!

Ordered the veggie burger made like a whopper. Since the veggie burger only comes with lettuce and tomato when you ask for it to be made like the whopper it also comes with pickle and onion. After much confusion I got my food. I drive back to work to look at my food to see its vegetables on a bun, no veggie burger patty. I’m starving and furious! I called them, no answer. I wait another 10 min, call again, no answer. Finally on the third try I get the manager. She explained to me there was the«veggie whopper» and the«veggie burger» the veggie whopper is everything that comes on the whopper except the meat which she claimed I ordered. She was very adamant I ordered that until I explained to her my receipt said«bk veggie BURGER» which then she apologized and became quite helpful. She said I could come back or come back the next day and she will give me a free meal. That is very considerate but seeing as I just spent $ 5+ on something I won’t eat, it’s not really free but I appreciated the gesture. So I came back yesterday to try again. Once again, couldn’t get my order right. I asked for a veggie burger, made like a whopper with no mayo. I receive just that plus no ketchup. So a dry veggie burger for lunch it is. I used to go here all the time when I was in high school and I ordered the same thing and they were always great, I don’t know what happened. No happy. Not returning.

My family got happy meals without the burger. We were made to wait in the parking lot so they could make fresh french fries of all things. This place should be shut down, its giving BK a bad name!

Yeah, it’s pretty bad. Even for a Burger King. I’ve given it a couple of different tries and I won’t be giving it any more. Somehow it seems to get slower, more disorganized, and less friendly every time. No thanks.

This place was below poor. Food was cold and uncooked. It was 10 $ for a whopper meal and a side fry, the store is also run my college kids. End results were a loose stool! Never again…

Horrible. Went through the drive through and had to pull over into a parking spot and wait for food to be brought out to me,(I ordered two value meals, I guess that’s a tall order at this particular Burger King) I waited there and watched at least 6 other vehicles receive their food and drive off. I asked for no tomato on my sandwich, of course they didn’t listen. I specifically asked for the free soft serve ice cream cone that you’re supposed to get with the purchase of a value meal, never received it. They didn’t even give us a straw, but gave us plenty(way too many for a normal person) of sugar and ketchup packets. I can’t say they left very much that wasn’t screwed up. This is a review from a lover of Burger King.

DONOTCOMEHERE! The staff service and customers are questionable! The first and last time I went inside, a family with two-three kids ate nearby. The daughter of the family threw up and the mother did nothing to report to the staff of the mess that lay on the floor. None of the staff came out the whole time we were there(20−30mins) to clean up either. The child probably threw up from food poisoning! Thankfully, I am still alive to report this!

Do people really look at reviews for fast food places? Eh, I don’t care. This review is more cathartic than anything else. It’s perhaps a sad commentary on the state of my life that – when I found myself out & about earlier than usual on Saturday – I was actually excited to get breakfast here! I finished getting my hair did across the street, and entered this BK aquiver with anticipation. And slammed face first into a wall of incompetence. After studying the board for awhile, I carefully placed my order, by # with options. The guy looked confused, turned around and looked at the board. Started putting some stuff in, repeated my order back, not quite right. I repeated my order again, he pushed some buttons, looked confused. Claimed he got it. Looked confused. A woman came over, presumably someone with seniority and experience. She said something like«It’s # 1?» I said yes, and repeated the options(medium, with ham). She told him how to correct the order, since he apparently had it all wrong. «Press doohickey, then 12, then thingamajig, hit xyz»(I wasn’t listening, it was gibberish to me). While that was happening I noticed the total price dropping from $ 20+(!!!) to the correct balance. After probably 3 or so minutes spent ordering, it was finally entered. Or so I thought. I did get my medium coffee, and a cup for water as I asked. OK… not a total loss. My food arrived in a couple minutes. Not super fast, but not terribly long. While I was waiting I had time to watch the order taker guy be clueless with the next patron in line as well. I got some ketchup; the pump didn’t «pop up» so you had to work it up and down(that’s what he said) and went to sit down. Well… my order was wrong. Despite my having stated a minimum of three times(at least once in the presence of superior lady) that I wanted ham on my sandwich, it came with the default sausage patty. At this point I was quite hungry and had no patience to go back up there and interact with the staff again. So I ate it. In addition to all that, this place was dirty and in poor repair. So why two stars, and not one? =The food was decent tasting for what it was. =Cheap. For less than $ 5 I got a breakfast sandwich, medium coffee and medium«hashbrowns»(flat tater tots). =This isn’t the worst BK I’ve been to. That one was in the FL keys.

I’ll preface by stating I worked at BK for 4 years starting in high school, and no, not this BK. My body physically hurts when I walk past these structures. But seriously, the«crew» at this location makes the«crew» I worked with look like saints, and a few of them had records. Makes me sad to downgrade what used to be some good times… making customized sandwiches: Triple whopper with bacon in between the patties, etc. I still get cravings for the chicken sandwich, once a year. Hence, one star. Tip: if you actually want something fresh from BK, actually ask at the register for«fresh» from the fryer, or broiler. It’ll take a few minutes, but it’s hellaofalot better than regular BK food.

Kar M. of the past has nothing but love for BK. It has fueled me through many road trips in many countries. It’s among the few fast food chains that has had the decency to keep a veggie burger on the menu for more than a minute. It serves me onion rings. Nothing but love. So, then, this is not a good BK. It is icky and cramped. Nothing for the kiddies. The staff reminds you that you are in a glorified McDonald’s. They are barely paid enough to care what’s going on around them, which I get. It all kinda goes down from there. To everyone’s credit, our orders came out correctly(no lettuce on the veggie burger, no mustard on the double cheeseburgers). And husband loves any place that gives him a double cheese for $ 1. But this still invokes the«Meh.» I’ve experienced better– even from you, Burger King. Even from you.

I really hate reviewing about places like this but I seriously need to let the public know about this place. I come to this BK out of convenience. its right across the street from my job. BUT… I HATEYOU! I HATEYOU. this morning I ordered 2 sausage egg crossanwiches(NOCHEESE). I paid the $ 3.10. Then The fellow at the drive through had the audacity to ask me to pull into the parking lot. Listen buddy, unlike you, who is already at work, I need to get there soon. I could understand if I was ordering like 10 things but I wasn’t. About 10 minutes later the guy comes out to give me my food and we ask for ketchup. He goes back into the store grabs some and gives me a few packets. We look at our orders and they messed up my simple order. Their signature sausage crossanwich was sans sausage. My boyfriend went inside to yell at the people and demand they give me the sausage patties that should have originally came with the damn sandwich in the first place. They tried to charge him another $ 1.60. Is everyone that works here mentally challenged? We already paid for them. All in all… Don’t use the drive through and talk slowly to the people who work there because apparently they don’t catch on too easy.

If you are ever in a hurry, or in desperate need of food– DONOT use their drive-thru. The first time I used it there was 3 of us in the car– ordering one meal each… we had to pull into a parking spot and wait about 10 minutes for our REAL order. I say real, because the first time they brought out the food it was wrong, and the second time– they still didnt have anything. By the third try we still had our food. I have gone to this BK a few times on the way out of the city hoping to grab something quick– but their drive thru is nothing near that word. They always get something wrong, forget something, or need you to pull into a parking space and wait for your food. However– if you go in, you have a chance at getting your food right away and having it correct.
