History

Established in 2007.

It started in ’98 when my sister said I could easily make the bag I just bought. In 2001, after 9/11, I was out of work and didn’t know what to do. A friend suggested a handbag party. Lots of friends came to support me.

In 2006, I left my day job & researched manufacturers in Chicago.

In 2007, revamped my website, got more attention online, picked up by eBags.com and started selling at events all over Chicago.

In 2008, added new big bag designs to my collection and upgraded my leather.

In 2009, we incorporated, got a showroom and sold in 6 more states.

In 2010, introduced our new Lauren bag, which became our signature piece.

In 2011, the Lauren was featured in a National Ad campaign seen in People, USWeekly, Glamour & more.

2013 was our 5th and biggest year at the Chicago One of a Kind Show.

2014, we are sold in several states and nationally online via eBags, Amazon, OpenSky, Shoptiques and more.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Although So Cal native, Brynn Capella, turned the Windy City into her home, it is easy to see where much of her inspiration comes from. Letting fate take the wheel, she turned her «in-between jobs» hobby into a business. It brought her to Chicago, where she creates bags with the perfect mix of her coastal upbringing and her new urban lifestyle. The result is handbags that work as well with broken-in jeans and flip-flops as they do with a classic LBD. Best described as classic elegance meets everyday casual, her Italian leather bags effortlessly transition from day-to-night and season-to-season. Her philosophy that less will always be more is her base. She also doesn’t believe in mass-production, so she has her line locally handcrafted to ensure this. From a functional tote to a hip versatile cross-body bag, no detail is left undone from contrast stitching to leathers that get better, softer and more personal with age. She creates for the boutique shopper, w/out the couture price tag.
