Opened up a account with this place. My options were Bridgeview, or Chase, which sits right across the street from Bridgeview. The guy that assisted me with opening up a account was very clear on everything, and had a lot of knowledge, which made me very comfortable that I chose Bridgeview over Chase.

These are the most helpful, knowledgeable, and pleasant bankers I have encountered. They are willing to take their time to do what is necessary. And this is one of the few banks that still has a coin counting machine.

I haven’t been overly disappointed but not overly thrilled either. When you deposit a check, the funds take several days to become available, I was also told their ATM devices in the entrance way were open 24 hours; 7 days a week, so one night after work I drove down there to deposit a check and the placed was completely locked and dark. I wish I had another bank close to my house and I would probably switch.

The staff is great. Honest and helpful. The bank has none of the hidden fees and schemes that big banks… like the one across the street… have. This has been my go-​to place for mortgages and refinancing, too. I get a better rate than all other places I have shopped. Bank here with complete confidence.

This is a great neighborhood bank. If you don’t want a major corporate bank like Chase or Bank of America or some such giant where you are treated a lot more like an account number than a person, you should check out Bridgeview. The people at this branch know me by name and always greet me with a smile and a hello whenever I walk in or even if they see me on the street. The managers will work with me to fix any problems I might have or answer any questions about my account. The actual Bridgeview ATMs are not plentifully located around the city and suburbs, but you can use any Star SF ATM without extra service fees. Plus, the free checking has interest!
