Brideside

One of my closest friends is getting married next year, the Maid of Honor coordinated with the bride to be, one other fellow bridesmaid and myself an afternoon appointment to look at dresses. This place is not only chic, cute and hip; but an overall personal shopping experience. Devin, our stylist listened to what we collectively were looking for as far as length, style and colors for bridesmaids dresses. During our quick try on we sipped on procecco, I say quick because our dress choice was one of the first we tried on. Devin answered every and all questions and made us feel welcomed, the owner even came over and introduced herself. I highly recommend this place, Thank you again!

This company has overwhelmingly bombarded me with emails and text messages. I told one of the girls that I already purchased dresses from another company and to stop contacting me. But yet still I received phone text messages and emails! Every time they send a text message, it is from another phone number, so blocking it is no use. So then I unsubscribed to the emails and the phone services. Yet I get another text message from a completely different number that literally said «I noticed you unsubscribed, but I wanted to follow up once more.» This infuriated me. If you noticed I took the time to unsubscribe, why are you bothering me again? I hate being harassed by inconsiderate and invasive sales people so my patience for this is very low.

I had a great experience with Brideside. I have 4 bridesmaids and we went in January on a weekend to try dresses on. Chelsey was our consultant and she was helpful and nice. We ended up purchasing Alfred Sung dresses and Brideside had the best pricing around compared to other shops. The dresses were delivered to the shop and we were able to save some money by picking up the dresses rather than them being delivered to us. The dresses came packaged very nicely and ordering online was a very easy process. They have contests on Mondays to win a dress or giftcards which is great too (check out their instagram)!
Only issue we had was that the shop was very cold (January) and Chelsey was running a few minutes behind so we were stuck out in the cold for awhile.

I am updating my review because after posting my previous review Brideside contacted me. I must say I am a little annoyed that it took a public posting for them to get in touch, but I guess that is what service recovery is all about! The girl who contacted me, Rachel, was extremely nice and helpful. She apologized for all my troubles and asked to remedy the situation. I was given a resolution that I am happy with and appreciate her reaching out to me. I hope this is the service they give in the future to brides looking for help!

I had a large wedding party with 11 bridesmaids, a destination wedding and bridesmaids that lived all over. Brideside’s convenient shipping service allowed all of the girls to try on dresses easily. The pricing of the dresses was also very affordable. Each dress was under 160.00 dollars and if you waited for a sale the girls could purchase at a discounted rate.
The actual Chicago space is in a start up building and the try on room is adequate to view different dresses. The inventory was smaller than most, so be open to creativity with colors etc. But overall I was extremely pleased.

Brideside is such an amazing place. Everything about our experience was a breeze. Making an appointment was no problem. We told Devin which designer and what styles we were looking for and upon arrival she had a rack of dresses ready for us to try on. The space is beautiful and large with tons of natural light. Several of us were able to try on dresses which was a point of contention with another bridal boutique. Devin, our stylist, is just amazing. She was beyond helpful and it didn’t end with the appointment. She regularly keeps in contact with us and other wedding party members who are out state. Prices are pretty standard, I’d say they may even be a bit cheaper then some of the bridal/​bridesmaid boutiques we visited. They also had a lot more variety in terms of size, which is something that a lot of stores like this do not offer. I can’t say enough good things about Brideside and Devin!

I am getting married next year and I wasn’t sure where to get my bridesmaids dresses from until I found brideside. I worked with Chloe and she was phenomenal she gave such get input on the dresses and which dress flattered the best on my bridesmaids. She got along great with each of my bridesmaids and really listened to what we wanted/​didn’t want. The whole experience was amazing and so stress free. Everyone was so happy and had a great time! Also I love that they have champagne it was a bonus.

I got all my bridesmaid dresses through Brideside and could not be happier with the result! Since I live in Chicago I decided to make an appointment and stop by the headquarters to speed up the try-​on process. The stylist was very helpful and gave me some honest feedback about trends /​cuts /​designers that was so helpful! I ended up settling on a Alfred Angelo number in Rum Pink, but I still wanted my maid of honor’s feedback — the only issue was she lived in DC. The stylist mailed the dresses to DC for free and my MOH got to try them on and I got to get her seal of approval before we signed off on the dress. From there my stylist took control — e.g. emailing my bridesmaids, making sure they got the right sizes, answering their questions. It was so nice to be able to check that off my list and not deal with coordinating one more thing while wedding planning. The dresses were in great condition and everything worked out as planned. Even better, I’m getting compliments on my bridesmaid dresses from everyone that sees the photos. :-) All in all a wonderful experience — highly recommended for any bride!

This is long overdue. Wedding was this summer. One of my bridesmaids and I, finally went to brideside after visiting other stores. The experience was above and beyond… so we knew the dresses will have to be purchased there. There is a good selection of dresses. Devin was lovely and fun during the tryouts and responded promptly to emails. We waited till the very last minute to order dressed, so there was a little bit of a miscommunication about the arrival of dresses, but everything arrived on time and my bridesmaids looked lovely in their dresses!.. Thank You!

I had the pleasure of working with Devin to outfit my bridesmaids for my wedding in August. Being a girl who has very little fashion sense and absolutely hates making decisions for other people, I thought Brideside would be the perfect way for me to get the guidance I so desperately needed, while also allowing my bridesmaids some choice and flexibility with their dresses. Two of my sisters, my mom and I all went to the Brideside showroom for my appointment with Devin and that was the start of a great journey together. Devin not only helped my sisters (with quite different styles) decide on their favorite looks, but she also appeased my mom’s wants as well. By the end of the afternoon we had 4 great choices for the bridesmaids to choose from. After we walked out that day I barely had to think twice about the bridesmaids dresses — Devin contacted all of my bridesmaids and facilitated the ordering of the different dresses in a quick and efficient manner. Given that one of my bridesmaids was living in Spain, another in D.C., and a third just having had a baby 2 months before, it was no easy task, and I cannot thank Devin enough for all of her help. When the big day finally arrived I received countless comments on how gorgeous the bridesmaids dresses were — they were such a hit. Thank you Brideside — especially Devin! You made the entire process so much easier than I ever could have dreamed!

I am getting married next year and have been working with Morgan the past 2 months and she has been incredible! She’s extremely timely on emails and goes above and beyond to make sure this process of wedding planning is as stress-​free as possible. I highly highly highly recommend working with Morgan to find bridesmaids dresses. So far, it has been a wonderful experience working with Brideside Chicago.

Brideside was absolutely perfect and one of my favorite vendors to work with during wedding planning! I had a very long, drawn-​out bridesmaid dress shopping experience and Anna at Brideside made the experience a million times more enjoyable. Since she is young and not an old lady at a department store, she really understood what I was looking for, the trends, and what each girl needed. I went to 5 stores in Chicago and 2 in New York and Brideside was by far the best with customer service. Anna was super prompt to respond to my emails, extremely helpful in helping me pick out a dress, and very patient with my indecisiveness. She scheduled appointments around my busy work schedule, let me take home fabric samples, and gave helpful suggestions. She individually helped my girls pick the right size, followed up with them if she thought the size they chose was too big or too small, sent 2 sizes if they were in between, and gave them tips on how to wear it best! She was so positive and professional. She fought for my girls to ensure the dresses would come on time with the manufacturer. She did a #MaidsMonday contest with my girls and one girl got a free tank top and another girl got money off her dress! Such a good idea and my bridesmaids loved it! And to put the icing on the cake, she sent me brownies to thank me after I got back from my honeymoon! I recommend Brideside to everyone!

This location is a cool loft space and they offer champs when you arrive. This was my first experience here and I think it’s a fairly new location for the company, however they seem committed to making Brideside a top contender in bridesmaid dress market!
