Blue Door Farm Stand presents Blue Door, Too — a pop up location serving up all of your Blue Door favorites for pick up and delivery only. This pop up will operate until the full service Blue Door Farm Stand located at 2010 N. Halsted opens.

Blue Door Farm Stand, Too features fresh, seasonal food and drink from local farms and farmers’ markets as well as from the restaurant’s namesake, Blue Door Farm, once Oprah’s Indiana property. There is Metric coffee and Rishi tea and a selection of Harvest Juicery cold pressed juices.

History

Established in 2014.

The first original concept from Ideology Entertainment. A majority of the food is sourced from local farms and farmers’ markets as well as from the restaurant’s namesake, Blue Door Farm, once Oprah’s Indiana property.

I love the chicken salad! It has a twist on your traditional mayo-​nut-​grape chix salad: smokey! So yummy. My only complaint: please open the restaurant bakery already!!!

I was walking by and saw they had a ginormous carrot cake. I needed to eat some veggies so I thought… hummm… carrot cake counts right?
Omg!
I have never in my life had a carrot cake this amazing. It was a moist, juicy and not too sweet.
It also was I believe, three or four layers. It was so decadent. So if you’re in the neighborhood and you want to have more vegetables I suggest you order a slice of their amazing carrot cake., hands down it is the best. On customer service: their customer service is spectacular. The quality of the food is amazing. I cannot wait to return.

I had such a wonderful experience at blue door I had to share. On Friday my friend and I were walking around trying to decide where to eat. After long waits at a few places on Halstead & Armitage and no longer in the mood to stand in the freezing weather, we decided on a lighter dinner of salads and sandwiches from blue door.
Unfortunately, we got there a few minutes after it has closed. We were about to leave when one of the employees (Jeremy) said he would let us come in for dinner. Our food was delicious and the kitchen was happy to make us food when they didn’t have to. The kale & Brussels salad is too die for. The potato salad and grilled cheese are also very yummy. The portions are also pretty generous. But most importantly the service is impeccable! The employees are always helpful and friendly and thanks to Jeremy we didn’t have to eat frozen pizza on a Friday night! Definitely a return customer. Thanks blue door!

I popped in here one morning to grab some lunch to take to the office. The inside has a nice ambiance. I ended up going with the half and half, soup (Carrot and Pepper) and salad (something with shaved brussel sprouts, kale, bacon, and cheese). It is served warm and was hands down, the best salad I have had in a long time. Absolutely delicious. They have Izze sodas and cakes (the latter of which took great restraint to pass up… it was just sitting there, in all of its carroty cakey goodness). Will definitely be back.

I just ordered Postmates delivery Blue Door Farm Stand and after stuffing my face, I could not get to Unilocal fast enough to review. Everything I had was amazing, all the way down to the crust on the bread. We ordered the brussell spout salad-​yum!, fig&arugula grilled cheese-​double yum!, veggie wrap-​yum!, and the farmhouse sandwich-​yum! I will absolutely be visiting again.

Wow… all the magical magnificence of the original in a more convenient (for me) location! Right across the street from Lincoln park high school, super easy to park. If your not familiar, this is possibly the best «farm» food in Chicago. Incredibly creative, yummy, and priced perfect.
