Meet Ewa B, a licensed esthetician and sole-​owner of BioLife Organic Spa, 2753 N. Ashland Ave., in Chicago.

A skin care therapist, who has been performing cosmetic treatment of the skin for patrons in New York, southern California and most recently in Chicago and the northwest suburbs, Ewa received extensive training before launching her career as a skin care specialist a decade ago.

She has earned eight skin care certificates, principally from the New Age Spa Institute in Des Plaines, Illinois, ranging from laser treatment, make up care and anti-​aging procedures to peels, waxing, eyelash extension, detox foot spas, body wraps and sunless tannings.

Before returning to Chicago and opening BioLife Organic Spa, she spent three years in New York and California applying make up for female models in preparation for high profile fashion shows, motion picture sets and video shoots. BioLife Organic Spa is a hidden gem! I love coming here and getting pampered by Ewa :) I’m so addicted to the eyelash extensions. They look absolutely glamorous and instantly make your eyes pop out! I’ve gone to other places to get them before but Ewa is the best hands down. The ThermoJet Slimming Body Wrap is amazing too. It removes toxins from your body so you feel great — and lose weight in the process!!!

Came today for a wax, I have recently become allergic to multiple products I use to use (face wash, body wash, etc), I also had previously at a different wax studio had an allergic reaction to wax. I just moved back from NYC, and was worried about finding a new Waxing studio.
I was assured that the products were all natural soy and plant based wax. I also use topical acne cream on my face. The waxer did one strip for my eyebrows and told me we needed to stop, as the topical cream I used would cause my eyebrows to peal. She than gave me instructions for what to do next time when I come back for my eyebrow wax. Which I greatly appreciate, as I feel other places would of just kept going.
I also got a bikini wax which was quick and as painless as it can be, as well as she did a great job. I need to try a facial based on the other reviews and was given some samples of the products they sell. I am excited to try them.
Definitely recommend for a natural wax and natural products. I will definitely continue coming here for my waxes, no allergic reactions!

I saw Anna for an eyebrow wax and tint and an eyelash tint. She was amazing! My brows looked better than they ever had before! Also, she managed to tint my lashes quickly without any discomfort. I’ve done this other places several times and always experienced extreme discomfort, so I was thrilled with Anna’s work!

Eva was amazing! I came in for a brow and lash tint and then made an appointment for a facial later in the day. It’s so cute and relaxing. The entire staff was extremely friendly. During both services Eva made sure to ask if I was okay through every step. As someone who is kinda shy I always appreciate this. The eminence products were great on my sensitive skin. No irritation at all I’ve always been afraid to try a facial because of this (did arctic berry facial) she also gave a great massage during the treatment. I will definitely be returning! (I also left with a new moisturizer and skin care régime) Thanks for the best spa day Biolife Organic Spa! :)

I really enjoyed my appointment today. The spa has a very positive and relaxed vibe, with lots of holistic products and services. Ewa is gorgeous and kind. She was very patient although I was late, and she made my eyebrows look flawless! It is certainly worth the money. I will definitely be back again and I am eager to get a facial and foot bath soon. You will not leave this place without feeling relaxed and beautiful.

Eva is not only sweet, she’s professional and talented. I’m a bit of a tomboy but have wanted to try lash extensions because I’m a natural redhead and my lashes are somewhat invisible. She did an incredible job. They look natural and beautiful. The whole process was relaxing which is hard to achieve when receiving this service.

I found Biolife Spa after moving to Chicago from Orange County California. I tried several other places for eyelash extensions and just wasn’t finding the skill and look I wanted.
When I first came to Ewa it was after a failed application of lashes at another place. She carefully removed the lashes and started over. She did a fantastic job. I have been seeing her regularly (2 – 3 weeks) for 4 months and she had fine tuned the look I wanted! Perfect everytime! I get compliments all the time from random people!
I have also had Ewa work on my eyebrows (I had them too thin) and over the months she has worked them into a great shape, and tints them as well, they look amazing.
Lastly, she does amazing facials!
I have brought a friend in for facials as well, and we both agreed that the facials were the best we’d ever had! My face felt great, and the experience was so relaxing and fun!

I was lucky to find this salon and have Ewa as my esthetician. I took my daughter for her graduation. I booked two facial and the service could not have been better. I am thrilled with the results. We also get samples of the Eminence organic products that they uses so you can try it before you buy it. Also we got $ 35 gift certificate as client appreciation. This is a relaxing environment with amazing custom organic facials the best organic spray tans! The eyelash specialist is efficient and very talented. As a spa owner myself this is where I go to relax!
