My now husband and I were lucky enough to work with BCR, specifically Nicki Eisenstein. She was fantastic and everything you would hope for in a Day of Coordinator. She was such a great fit for what my husband and I were looking for on our wedding day and the events leading up to it. She was a great communicator, extremely responsive and had such confidence in her ability to make the day fantastic, which she did! We were not disappointed!
What I really appreciated about Nicki is that I never once worried about her. She was my eyes and ears and responded in such a timely fashion. Just like any couple, you hire a Coordinator to be there on your wedding day to make sure things go smoothly, which they did. She handled the shuttles, coordinated with our vendors and just made our wedding day one we will never forget. Nicki has fantastic connections in the city and it was great to have her on hand when corresponding with our vendors.
I will never understand the Brides who do not invest in a Day of Coordinator as it was the best decision we ever made!!! We are still getting compliments about our wedding and how fantastic it was!

BCR was phenomenal! We had the privilege of working with Nicki Eisenstein. From the first meeting, I knew she was the right fit. She listened first. She asked me questions to help me move the planning along and guided me when we were lost. She was professional, personal and an excellent communicator. As I began speaking to other vendors about our wedding day, they all said how lucky we were to have Nicki. I think that is the ultimate reassurance – everyone wants to work with and enjoys working with Nicki.
Nicki made everything for our day seamless. Even though she was a «day of wedding planner» she was more like our two-​week planner. The timeline she put together, the relationships she had with the vendors, the calm and ease she offered to everyone is truly what made our wedding day as enjoyable as it was for us. We knew we did not have to work about ANYTHING, because everything was in Nicki’s hands. Many of our guests complimented the wedding – and that is because of Nicki.

My family and I were in the throngs of wedding planning when we realized that, given I grew up in Chicago but lived with my fiancée out of state – among other logistical challenges – we needed a wedding coordinator. We interviewed BCR events and another firm in the area but from the beginning there was no comparison. BCR events won out by a long shot, mostly because Bambi and Nicki are the smartest, nicest planners in the area and from our first conversation on the phone, really showed that they cared about my vision for the wedding.
My family and I worked with Nicki during the planning process and I cannot say enough good things about her. I knew that planning a wedding from afar would be tough, but Nicki made everything so seamless for us and definitely WAY less stressful than I thought it would be. During the planning process, I traveled home to Chicago about once a month on the weekends, which is prime wedding time. Instead of telling me she couldn’t meet with me, Nicki always rearranged her schedule to accommodate an in-​person visit, which speaks volumes about her commitment to her clients (she also hopped on the phone at the drop of a hat to answer questions my family and I had. She provided recommendations to us in a way that was professional and speaks to her broad network/​knowledge of wedding vendors in the area and never did I feel that she was pushing something on us because of a deal she had arranged with a certain local vendor. She provided amazing, proven recommendations in a way that allowed us to exercise our vision… which I understand is a common compliant from lesser planning firms.
I could go on and on about how Nicki was amazing during the planning process and did everything for us on the day of, but in the spirit of keeping this review short, know that if you are considering a wedding planner/​coordinator (which I HIGHLY recommend even if you are not planning an out-​of-​state wedding for sanity purposes alone), your first and only stop should be BCR events. They are the best at what they do and their rates are very competitive.

Used BCR in late 2011 to manage, coordinate and plan Bat Mitzvah. She literally took care of everything: introduced us to quality ‘other’ providers such as venue, DJ, event décor, invitations, photo-​/​video-​graphers. Bambi respected our budget and helped offer options to stay in line with that number. Without question, this was the best money spent for the value, service and peace of mind it provided. We were VERY happy with the end result! Rehired BCR recently for next Mitzvah.

I had a fantastic experience with BCR events. Bambi had great recommendations and working with her was like working with a good friend. She was professional and calm and she and her crew were phenomenal and flawless on the big day. I would recommend BCR events to anyone who is looking to make their dream wedding perfect!
