Auto Sound Barrier

My front left speaker stopped working after I had an FM transmitter installed elsewhere so I took it here and asked them to check on the wiring based on this info. They insisted I had to replace the speakers which I agreed to do only to find out this didn’t solve my problem. Then they told me the problem was with my stereo unit and that I had to buy a new one.
Before sinking any more $ into new hardware I took my car to Gold Sound on Irving Park where they determined that there was indeed bad wiring that was causing the problem. THIS WAS MY SUSPICION FROM THE START AND I HAD ASKED THEM TO CHECK ON THIS! Instead they just tried to sell me on new speakers and a new stereo. I fell for the speakers but in not falling for anything else and NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

I don’t recommend them to any body, they rip you off and not honest with their customers.
They lied to us the entire time. We brought three cars to do auto starter, one of them was Ford Fusion 2014 they never told us they couldn’t install and had us bring it twice, and the guys lied on the phone the second day of being the car that their system wad down and they would call back once it’s back… I didn’t hear anything from them after that, so I called them back, then they finally admit they couldn’t install it. We were mad not because they couldn’t do it, we were because they weren’t honest from the beginning, they used the newest car as a key to charge us more on the other two claiming they are giving us a deal and also they would even give us 10% discount on each car if we do a good Unilocal review. We did… BUT now this review is an update for our bad experience with dishonest and ripoff customer service they provided us… I would even take that one star if I could!!!

Go there for your tints, remote start, and stereo I got my tints they did really good job I always recommend my friends SENAN is really nice.

I have put 3 off my cars here for car starters installed. And it all work out really good. They are all nice. Given helpful tips and have really the car on time or early then they need too. After I installed the starter in never given me any problems. Glad that i found this place.

Installed my after market stereo (Receiver) in my 2002 Jeep, bought from from Amazon. In and out in 20 mins. Works great! :)

These guys are the best! I been going here for years they do a great job never have to return for any problems. they are fast and competitive in price they work with you and give good service. I won’t let anyone touch my car but them nacho in th back is the best installer! Very competitive prices, i asked bunch of different shops around to get a quote to tint just the front two windows and got crazy prices, sound barrier gave me a very low price in comparison. I went in and the work was done very quickly and professionally. Previous bad reviews talk about a rude receptionist, which must have been replaced because i was greeted very professionally. overall it was a very good experience, would recommend others to try them out too.

Best sounds place I found so far, they everything that had to do with my sound system, from wiring the subs to instalation of a nice Kenwood indash tv radio, customers service is great, an what I like most about them all there items are under warranty, I recommend this place to all my friends. This place doesn’t get the proper attention it deserves. I was looking to get my car tinted, called several places for quotes and these guys are by far the cheapest guys in the city! They charged me $ 50 cheaper than other big name places to fully tint a 2014 Nissan Sentra. Plus lifetime warranty! What more can you ask for with a family owned business? The place is small, but that’s the beauty of Customer Service. They focus on customers need and make sure you walk out satisfied with their service. Yes they may have had a rough past with a previous owner but now they are better than ever. I’ll definitely be back to upgrade my vehicle.

I am in the process of taking this owner to court.
I have retained an Attorney to have this place closed for good because they have disrespectful staff, poor quality of service and does not follow any store or service policy.
They will not help you in any way if you have to return to them for any help regarding work that was done by them.
I have proof of recorded conversation and videos.
FYI to all old and new customers going to this shop, please think twice or more before going back to this shop.
