Our main products are the African style smoked stewing chicken, smoked chicken gizzards and smoked turkey gizzards. We can also do private label meat and poultry products for other companies.

History

Established in 2009.

Authentic Smoked Meats was birthed when CEO, Josephine Mutizwa then a new immigrant in America was craving for some real ‘African fare’ for the holiday season. She bought a few frozen whole chicken and spices to prepare for a some invited guests for Thanksgiving dinner. She concocted a seasoning mix for the chicken and prepared it. The reviews from the friends and family made her realize she had her hands on something! So she went to work to perfect the seasoning blend and so the long arduous journey began that has taken us to here and now. Presently we sell our products direct to retailers, wholesalers and food distributors in USA and Canada.
