As it happens, I have 4 other people ordering drinks after me and I’m the last one to get her drink. The place was literally empty when they finally made it. Maybe they’re short-staffed in the mornings or just mean-spirited. However considering how many options there are, I can easily go somewhere else.

$ 1.99 lattes with flavor shot and soy milk?! What?! They’ve comped my latte 2x already… so basically they’re making a repeat customer out of me. I kind of wish they had the soup station like other abp’s.

Just in time for the holidays, I went for a Skywalk around the Ogilvie Transportation Center and across the bridge over to newly opened Au Bön Pain at 2 North Riverside Plaza, where I found the most delicious Turkey«Cubano» Hot Sandwich complimented by a fresh Lobster Bisque with Corn. Since I celebrate my birthday anniversary in December, Au Bön Pain always remembers to wish me a Happy Birthday Anniversary celebration with a complimentary sandwich or salad for online members of the ABP eClub. A hot or cold beverage Au Bön Pain Travel Mug is a gift for eClub members. Season’s Greetings For The Holidays! Merry Christmas Au Bön Pain!

Never had issues here. They have $ 2 coffees/lattes(peppermint, mind you) in the afternoon around 3pm.

New place on the Riverside walkway of Ogilvie Transportation Center. Everything was nice and clean and proper, but then again, the place is new. I haven’t been to an Au Bön Pain in awhile, as there aren’t really that many closer locations for my lazy ass to walk to. But the way things are setup, it reminds me of a Panera or Corner Bakery. The staff at this location is nice and friendly. I came here as the«99-cent coffee» sign enticed me away from the Starbies across the walkway. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich too — egg sandwich. Total bill was $ 6. Somewhat pricey for my cheapass, but it was somewhat delicious. Overall, another decent breakfast/coffee option for those who work near Ogilvie.

New Au Bön Pain at 2 N. Riverside aka that walkway from the riverwalk into Ogilvie Station. I was excited to see them fill the open space and today I got breakfast there. It was really busy even at 6:45 but they were moving people through there like they had been open for years. My breakfast sandwich was really good and I only waited a minute or two. They were offering 50% off breakfast items(ending today) as a grand opening promo and the lady who appeared to be the manager was really involved in talking to customers, but also kept stepping back to help the staff. My coffee was a little slow but they got it right — you can tell that they are just getting the hang of things, but the space is clean, bright, and they have tons of stuff in the help-yourself to-go containers and coolers. The key thing that so many places(for example, the Starbucks and Dunkin directly across the way) don’t have is they have a nice space with stand-up tables where you wait after you order until your ticket is called. There’s plenty of room and it’s not chaotic. All in all, this seems like it will be a good addition to the train station alternatives
