I ran into the after New Years rush today in the store. Partially the crowd was due to associates on the floor ready to put your name on the list versus actually assist. Literally, three associates asked me was my name on the list instead of how can I assist you. I came in to do an exchange, not trouble shoot, not ask info not check upgrade info… An exchange. Ridiculous!

Slow(waited forty minutes) and the sales clerk attempted the old«bait and switch» scheme. The clerk and manager told me after my wait and ten minutes of taking my information that no more«I phones» were available in the 16g level. But the more expensive 32 g were available. I was the third customer in the store that day. Doesn’t the computer provide inventory? I was then told that they might have more later that day but I would have to wait for another clerk and re-enter all my information again. Why? the store does pre-orders for phones all the time. Why not merely take the information and call me when the phone arrives? Later I went on line and ordered. Ha ha, no commission for the locals.
