They came by for measurement for a office glass estimate and they said estimate will be given by call or email. A week later, with no estimate on hand, I called 3 times weekly and same run around that someone will get to it and contact me. 3 weeks later, with no estimate, I get how this place is run. Poor way to do business, not to mention that they do not want your business. Go to another reputable place not run by a clueless bunch.

I recently moved into the area and renovated a unit. I have used this place 4 times now from my shower glass install to special ordering glass shelves to picture glass. They are helpful, quick, reasonable, and easy to work with. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Scheduled an appointment to get an estimate on fixing a large window. The day of the appointment they were a no show, no call, no prior notice that they weren’t going to show up. Would have appreciated prior notice before I took off work early. If you are serious about getting your mirror/​glass fixed, look somewhere else.

They cut my mirror for me. Then I took it home and realized I had given the wrong dimensions. So I brought it back and they cut it again for me at no charge!

You know how some business are really good at their craft, really fast, really professional but you pay up for it… and your willing to do so because of the the great value and experience? This isn’t one of those businesses! Keep walking.
I simply wanted a lamp fixture lens diffuser replaced. I dropped it off on ⁴⁄₂₅; they said it would take about a week. (I picked it up today, August 6^th) It took months for them to figure out they didn’t have the glass and where to get it… and that didn’t bother me at the time.
Months later, after they got the glass, they cut it wrong so only two of the four fasteners would fit and only figured this out after they glued the glass to the frame. Instead up owning up and fixing their mistake, they called me, said it was ready to be picked up and apologized for the delay. No big deal to me.
I picked it up and when I got home, I realized two of the fasteners were missing. I called and they said, «I’m sorry, let me look for them». They called me back and said they «found them» and I COULD COME BACK AND GET THEM”. It would have been nicer to hear, «we screwed up and our delivery guy will drop them off would have been much better.»
On my way back sitting, at a red light, it dawned on me, they took the two fasteners off because the glass was too big and they wouldn’t fit!
Sure enough, I got to the store and they tried to hand me the fasteners, apologized and send me on my way. I resisted and said I paid for the installation and would appreciate them finishing it. 45 minutes later, after jerry rigging it twice, I left with a jerry rigged solution.
The owner said, «well what do you expect?» My answer was «After 4 months of waiting, I expect it to be done right… the first time… and not have to make the round trip twice and wait 45 minutes for a jerry rigged solution.» The owner apologized and said «what do you want from me a credit? I will refund what I charged you if you’d like.» I said «sure, that would be great, give me a credit». The credit never came.
All to say, their business motto «we’re expensive BUT we are really bad and we’re slow»

Came in to order a piece of round glass for a table of mine. I brought it in on a Saturday, they told me it would be ready towards the end of the next week. 9 days had passed and I still hadn’t received a call saying it was done. Called on Monday and they said Tuesday afternoon. I show up Wednesday afternoon to find my glass still not cut. I had to wait 35 minutes for them to cut.

I called Ashland Glass & Mirror based on the reviews. I have to say that my experience was vastly different. I received very poor customer service.
I called to get an estimate for a frame-​less shower door and panel for a shower with what was considered a relatively modest opening of 42 in. Along with an estimate for a glass shield for the tub in the guest bath. The lady on the phone from Ashland glass quoted me a price along with detailing what was required and involved, including something called a «U Channel» that I found out later was a frame, even though I was insistent several times that I wanted completely FRAME-​LESS. Based on this information, I went ahead and scheduled the appointment for someone to come out and measure.
Sam was the person that came out to do the estimate and he was very understanding of what I was looking for. This part of the process was relatively simple and I awaited my quote by mail. After waiting a few days and not receiving my quote by mail, I decided to call and was finally sent my quote. To say I was shocked at the final number would be an understatement. The actual quote was $ 900.00 more than the initial phone estimate. Now I realize the estimate could be off from actual but I was expecting maybe a few hundred dollars at most. At this point I should’ve just left well enough alone, but decided to call just to see if this was a mistake. I just happened to have the same lady that did my initial estimate answer the phone. I asked about my quote and she stated it was correct and that the reason it was more was due to special clamps and other custom things that did not make sense. All I asked for was a frame-​less shower door and panel — not special low-​iron glass or anything custom. I then mentioned that if the initial estimate was even close to what the final quote was — that I probably would’ve just called elsewhere and not wasted my time. She then stated that I had wasted THEIR time.
If this is how they treat you before you give them your money, imagine how it will be after. My advice is to look elsewhere.

I had two windows where condensation had gotten in the double paned glass. After a bit of a rocky start-​the measurements to give me an estimate were misplaced-​Ashland more than come through with terrific customer service. They came a second time to measure on a day and time convenient to me and discounted the cost of labor for the job without me asking. Today they came and installed the new glass for the windows. The 2 guys could not have been more professional. They were on time, careful of my home and the windows look fantastic. I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend Ashland.

Called on Tuesday, set an appointment for Thursday. Abdula called and said he was on his way — showed up on time to give me an estimate to fix my seamless shower door (was banging into the fixed panel). Gave me an estimate and called back to the shop to see if the repair crew could come right over. Estimate guy left but thought he might be able to get someone over this afternoon. Called me and said the guys would be here at 3:30. They came at 3:30. Two guys, were in and out of here in 15 minutes, very nice, used a drop cloth, fixed the door, cleaned up. New silicone on the fixed panel. Easy-​peasy. Great service. Finally fixed my broken shower door! Yay! Check one spring fix-​up/​repair item off my list — on to the next. Highly recommend these guys. And I found them on Unilocal!

Ashland was roughly half the price of our other, recommended, quote for two bathroom mirrors. Their service was efficient, fast, and they came when they said they would. The fellow providing a quick quote over the phone, given I knew my measurements, was very friendly and the service guys were nice too, not especially chatty, but it all worked.

I found these guys on Unilocal.The reviews are correct, they are excellent! Great customer service from start to finish, a rarity these days. We ordered a glass table top by phone. From the helpful person who took the order to the delivery guys, all was professional and prompt. We will recommend them to everyone.

Have a custom ½ inch shower glass installed 9ft tall. They did amazing work. The fit of glass and all of the seals are perfect. The fact that I’m spending the time to write a review should say it all.

I would give them 6 stars if I could. The folks here are fantastic. I had the day off of work, and my wife put me to work. I had to fix the broken medicine cabinet mirror, get a sheet of glass to protect a coffee table and track down replacement window latches. I contacted Ashland Glass & Mirror Design for a quote on the mirror. The price was right, so I headed there immediately. While there, I asked about the coffee table glass, and once again, the price was right. Before the cashier had a chance to ring me up, I asked if they had recommendations for the window latches. Sure enough, they had universal window latches that matched my needs!
I headed home and got to work on the windows. Less than two hours later, Ashland Glass contacted me to let me know the coffee table glass and medicine cabinet mirror were ready for pickup.
The folks here are fantastic, and I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for being an awesome neighborhood business!

I’m a student looking for a very small order of custom cut window glass. Ashland glass was wonderful in helping me select the size and type of glass I needed. Wonderful place

My law degree is one of my prized possessions, but you’d never know it by the fact that it sat in a dark corner for over seven years, in a beautiful frame with no glass to protect it. Fast forward to my new place with an office and no excuse not to hang the degree.
Thanks to Unilocal (my constant consultant) I found Ashland Glass & Mirror Design. I walked in without an appointment and the framed degree. For a good price (about $ 28) and a 10 minute wait on a Saturday, I got my degree back with the protection it needed!!! Perhaps I should add that the degree is not a standard size, but much larger. Should be, for as much as it cost!

I had recently broken a mirror on my vanity. I called around many shops and found prices to be outrageous. I then thought to refer to Unilocal for direction, and this is where I found Ashland Glass. I called the store, gave them dimensions on the mirror sizes I wanted, and the mirrors were ready the very next morning. The process was so effortless and efficient. I walked in with a tiny window frame from a window I had to break to get into my locked apartment. It was about 12″ x 6″. The guy behind the counter quoted me $ 46. I thought that was insane and almost walked out in a huff. Then the owner came over and explained that their system charges a «minimum price» for particular glass types (It was privacy glass). He gave me 50% off due to the small size of the window.
I was still overcharged, but they turned it around really fast (in less than an hour, when they quoted me 3). The glass was the right size, even if it was a little thinner than the original.
Either way, it’s better than the ghetto plastic bag I had rigged up. A job well-​done.
