Ever want to combine your travel, nature or family photos into that ONE PERFECT PHOTO? Make someone’s wildest fantasy come true … recreate a memory you don’t even have pictures of? Well, this is the place! Nancy Gershman, digital artist, specializes in the gift of wishful reality.
Each of her custom fine art photomontages are made from your photos and her own whimsical images (she never uses stock photos). Add a psychodelic sky, spinning apples, a miner’s telephone — whatever fits your subject or story.
Frame it as an 8×10, or upload your original artwork to make a card, invitation, or unusual photo gift (like a blanket, purse, or Lazy Susan). It’s affordable, artistic and absolutely made for the Hard-to-Please.
Visit Nancy’s expansive portfolio online at www.artforyoursake.com to see how other Yelpers found a really unique, one-of-a-kind gift for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and big anniversaries and big birthdays– by this celebrated Chicago artist.
Meet the Business Owner
Nancy G.
Business Owner
Nancy Gershman is a third generation artist, yet unlike her Viennese father and grandmother, she is the first to dip into a digital tool box to do art for your sake. She is also the first artist to plumb memory and wishful thinking for therapeutic results as she works not only with celebration clients, but also those grappling with loss and regrets. A one-man show of her «prescriptive photomontages» was recently shown at The Loyola University Museum of Art in Chicago (LUMA).
Journalist Patrick Butler once said «Nancy Gershman always wanted to be a playwright. But she never expected to be telling stories created with the insight of a layout designer, stage director, choreographer– and more than the touch of a medicine woman.»
Gershman received her formal art training from Hampshire College, graduating with a B.A. in Design and Communications. After two decades in advertising, suspending disbelief and turning things on their head still tickles Nancy and her clients.
