Description

Specialties

Annapurna’s literal translation is «Perfect Food» — and this reflects our commitment to excellence. Whether you are enjoying a delicious Samosa or drinking a mouthwatering Mango Lassi, you’ll find the same authentic flavor throughout our extensive menu.

As a family run establishment, we recognize first hand that we could not have done it without our loyal customers. Because of your love, we’ve won many awards and have continuously been recognized as one of Chicago’s leading vegetarian establishments.

History

Established in 1982.

Our story begins in 1982– back before Devon Street, aka «LittleIndia,» had taken root and become one of America’s most celebrated ethnic neighborhoods. We wanted to create a vegetarian restaurant that not only had excellent food, but brought vegetarian cooking to the masses. Fast forward 33 years later– Annapurna is Chicago’s oldest and most well-known vegetarian restaurants.
