they have some nice tiles, but the service is ridiculous. That salesman barely answer to calls or emails. They don’t even process the credit cards, you have to stay there 20min for 16 tiles to purchase and fill up paper work. I won’t go there again

Ann Sacks is an amazing showroom filled with a gorgeous selection of tiles and stone and staffed by knowledgable, friendly, and helpful staff. My husband and I went to Ann Sacks, hoping that we could get inspiration for our master bath renovation project, but knowing that the prices were pretty steep.
We worked with a woman named Allie, who was incredibly helpful both in the showroom, and after the purchase. Allie helped us come up with some interesting design schemes and gave us samples of tiles, stone, etc. She even drew a very impressive sketch of what our tile pattern could look like (I knew I didn’t want a horizontal boarder) and a more unique flooring pattern.
My husband and I went to a few more affordable tile places — Tile Shop, Tile Outlet, etc. — to try to find similar tiles, only to be disappointed. While there was a similar porcelain tile that we ended up ordering from one of the other stores because of the tile’s size and price, we did go back to Ann Sacks and Allie for the border tile and the shower floor tile.
While the purchase was not a substantial one, Allie was still beyond helpful. She has even worked with our contractor when he has had questions about the tile design. Our bathroom is almost complete and it is looking better than I had ever imagined.
Even if you don’t think you can afford an entire Ann Sacks bathroom — do yourself a favor and go visit. Allie is amazing and will help you plan and design your space, give you samples and quotes, and even help you out once the purchase has been completed.

My contractor suggested I look at Ann Sacks for a bathroom renovation project, and I went with a bit of trepidation, knowing that its tiles are not cheap.
I discovered staff who were more than eager to help (sorry, I do not now remember the name of the young guy who assisted me; his card is lying on a desk at my apt.), and there was a reasonably good tile selection at a fairly reasonable price.
The above-​mentioned employee got a quote ready and gave me some samples to take back to the apartment even though he knew I would never be spending a huge amount of money on luxury tile. Thanks to the way I was treated, the next day I told my contractor to call Ann Sacks and buy the tile.

We were new to Chicago and a «designer» we worked with steered us to Ann Sacks.
The tile is beautiful, very expensive, even with «designer» discount! Also the shipping is absolutely outrageous! As another person said it comes from two places in the US and NEITHER are close ! Our shipping was as much or MORE than some of the tile. We also had the problem of tile (still sealed in the boxes!) that they basically did not want to deal with! They charge a restocking fee, shipping fee again, so you end up almost paying them again to return the tile! Also the management was not very customer friendly. We were lead to believe a certain kind of tile (very high end) would work in the base of a shower. It has not worked at all!!! It has shifted, bubbled up and looks awful! She (The Manager) has now blamed our contractor for incorrect installation! Even though I was here the day it was installed and I myself heard the contractor go over the correct method with Ann Sacks before he even started. He did everything he was told to do, and now we must replace this shower floor! I would NEVER recommend Ann Sacks for any kind of customer service awards! They have basically shut us down and refused to compromise in any way whatsoever. Whatever happened to the customer is always right??? We have been very disappointed with the whole experience !!! If Ann Sacks gets a customer service rating it would be an F!

Nice products but delivery time and communication is horrible. One part of your order may show up in a matter of days and the rest in a couple of months. Once they have your money any sense of urgency is gone.

Anne Sacks is a division (owned by) Kohler Industries, as is Baker Furniture.

They have beautiful stuff. No question there. Not warm and fuzzy. There prices are very high and their promise times were not accurate. But if money is no object and you have left enough time for delays, go no further. Fine product-​no debate. This place gets premeir quality stuff. Needs to improve in the area specified above.

We bought a house with 4.5 bathrooms, and all were gutted to the studs. I needed everything, from design help to tile.
Jennifer Baird at Ann Sacks helped us reconfigure the master bathroom and select amazing tile that makes it our favorite room in the house (a 4×8 foot steam shower with multiple shower heads helps). She showed us a bunch of pictures and helped us brainstorm ways to make a layout that we liked work with materials that were more our taste (and that we could afford).
Jennifer also helped us choose tile for our other bathrooms that is coordinated, but makes each room feel unique. We went in on a Saturday (fairly close to closing time) and she stayed late to help us, then continued to help me via email for a few weeks as we finalized plans.
Contrary to popular belief, all Ann Sacks tile does not cost a fortune and we were able to find things well within our budget (and choose a few splurge items). One surprise, and the reason for 4 stars and not 5, is that the tile has to be shipped from a warehouse in either Portland, OR or Virginia Beach, VA. The shipping nearly DOUBLED the cost of our tile. It is ~$ 1/​lb, and tile is not light. Wish we had known that sooner, but live and learn.
I highly recommend visiting the showroom for inspiration. it can be overwhelming, so make sure to ask someone for help. It’s free and will make a huge difference in the final outcome in your project.

This showroom really represents the brand well. In fact, their massive selection spills over to the Kohler showroom next door, which features working installations.
My style definitely skews to the more modern, so half of this showroom is not my thing. However, the other half, rocks my world. Sacks features the retro modern Heath Tile… some styles are exclusive to Ann Saks. There is plenty of glass tile (which I think is on the decline), concrete tile and some fantastic 3-​D tile.
A rep can really help you sort through the huge collection and will give you samples. Extra bonus points if you show up with your elevation plans!
