If there were an option for zero stars, I would give it! They are extremely unprofessional!
I called looking to get a door key for my 98′ venture, and to get the back door hatch repaired. I specifically told the dispatcher what the problems were, and what I needed done to the car. They took my name and number, and told me a technician would be calling me back.
The technician called me back, his name was Joey. First of all, he wouldn’t let me go into detail of what I needed, just that he wanted the address, and he would be on his way. I tried explaining to him, and he said that he was on another job, and they, (I’m assuming the dispatcher), told him what needed to be done. So, I figured they gave him the details. When I asked him for an estimate before he came out, because I was researching different prices, he quoted me at $ 160.00. I asked him if that was for everything, and he said yes.
Needless to say, he comes out and right away starts saying he thought it was the ignition, not the doors, and how there is a $ 40.00 fee just for him to coming out here. He then says the door will be $ 200.00 because it is 30 minutes of work as opposed to 5 minutes of work with the ignition! I was flabbergasted! Then he said it would be better for him to work on the ignition, and check out the key there, I kept telling him the ignition wasn’t the problem.
After he explained this change to me, I informed him that I will not be needing their services after all! I was not going to let myself get taken advantage of! He said okay, got in his car, and then had the nerve to turn to me and say «I will write up your receipt then for me coming out» (WTF!!!)
I told him I wasn’t going to pay for it, and he then proceeded to call his dispatch office and complain. He stated he was a contractor and he doesn’t come out for free! I told him that was too bad, and he would have to take that up with his company. I WAS NOT GOING TO PAY HIM $ 40.00 FOR SPENDING TWO MINUTES TO LIE TO ME AND CHANGE THE PRICE!!!
Don’t use this company! They left a very poor taste in my mouth, and I will be sharing this negative experience with everyone I know!!!
