After a terrible and freezing night when our heating broke down, I called this company. I was asked to turn the furnace on and off and when that did not work, I was told that they would call me back to schedule an appointment. They didn’t.
I called back an hour later and the guy told me he was just about to call me back (yeah right) and that someone could come over, but only at noon, and that I might want to call someone else (??). I said we could wait until noon and was assured someone would contact me and come at that time to fix the heating.
No one called. not at 12, not at 1, not at all.
I tried calling 3 times later that day to see what was going on and there was no answer. Either this company has a policy of screening, or they just took a 5 hour lunch break from the office.
Obviously I called someone else and they came within an hour. Had I waited for these guys, I would have had another night of sleeping in a 45 degrees apartment.
What a terrible experience!

Todd provided a phone consultation that solved our problem right away! He answered his phone (on a Sunday, after a holiday!!!), took the time to hear what the problem was, and then quickly got our heat going on one of the coldest days of the year.
It was clearly evident that Todd is a true professional in his trade and actually cares about his clientele. We have found our HVAC guy and can’t wait to recommend him to others… (even warranted me signing up for Unilocal to write my first review!)

I have Ben using all temperature heating for 7 years, and I couldn’t be happier. Todd is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is very honest and he knows what he’s doing, and most importantly he doesn’t «overcharge». Recently he replaced a motor on my a/​c compressor. I looked up the price for the motor on the internet, and found that Todd charged me the same price. Also, he came out the same day I called him.

Todd, the owner, has got to be the most reputable guy in the business.
My heater stops working on a day when it’s already 30 and the overnight low is 20… it’s 9:30 in the evening (naturally, and of course).
Instead of just coming out for a late night house call, he asks me information about my furnace, and given that it’s an odd brand, he said, he can’t get the part for it until a distributor opens the next AM. He could have made money coming out here to tell me that… but he didn’t.
He then spends the next HALF HOUR (at night!) on the phone with me trying to figure out a way to get me heat until he can come in the morning and get the right part. The phone call made it clear that he both knows his stuff, and he cares about the PEOPLE he’s talking to as human beings, not just customers.
As a new homeowner, I’m sure that HVAC issues will come up again, but from now on, I can rest easy telling myself (and friends and Unilocalers looking for someone) «I’ve got a great HVAC guy!»

Todd’s service guys were busy so he came out himself. Todd found the problem right away. Even though he could have left right away and still made his $ 75 minimum service fee (which is less than most), he stuck around to check everything out and give the furnace some tlc. Old school honest.

Todd came out and helped me ascertain an issue with the AC in my apartment. It really wasn’t getting cool enough on hot days and after taking a look, Todd determined that the unit was way underpowered given the heat gain on my unit. He recommended a unit with a higher tonnage.
I presented my landlord – who had been giving me the runaround– with the findings and he had no choice but to swap out our unit with a larger one as Todd recommended. Since then, the unit has been much cooler and bearable on all but the hottest days of the summer.
