Affordable Family Plumbing

Hello, just wanted to warn other folks about this establishment, This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL service business I have ever dealt with. I schedule a job with this plumber and he totally blew me off — THREE TIMES!
When you take off work for a plumber appointment and they are a no show just once — that is bad enough. This company called hours after the missed appointment to tell me they would not be able to make it, and then reschedule again for the next day. OK
The next day, hours after the appointment, they called again and informed me that they would not be able to make the appointment, so again they rescheduled for 10:00 AM the next day. I was patient, and mentioned that I had rescheduled my appointments and made arrangements to be home for them, and that it was really important that they actually show up tor the THIRD appointment. Today they did not show up again — with NO courtesy hone Call. I called them this time. I was put on HOLD, and then disconnected. I called back — no answer — left message and no one returned my call. The reason they kept giving me to not showing up was that they had another plumbing job that was not going well — spooky if you ask me?
I reside in a condo building in the same neighborhood as «Affordable Family Plumbing». my project may have been a «small potatoes» issue, but there are many Families in our building that would have been referred to this company, not to mention all of my neighbors and contacts. A one star rating is too good, you just should not treat your customers with such a total disregard. You certainly would NOT want to rely on Affordable Family Plumbing for an EMERGENCY!

Our leaky faucet in the kitchen had gotten so bad it was causing our water bill to increase. We called Affordable Plumbing and they fixed the problem right away. Their service tech was prompt, professional, and friendly. Very impressed with their service and will use again.

Hello Folks!
Just the other day had an emergency plumbing problem at one of my rental property on Chicago southside. I had a hard time finding a plumber that could come out late at night to fix my plumbing problem I ‘d looked in the yellow pages and had no luck all I got was answering machines so I looked on the internet and google «emergency plumbers» and found this wonderful plumbing company that came out and solved my problem. They were professional and prices was cheap so I would definitely use these guys again.
