Peggy has guided Accurate Biometrics through expansive growth serving state, national and federal clients. Peggy’s strengths include planning for strategic development and controlling costs to customers. She is a seasoned business owner, and former corporate executive with over 10 years experience in the retail customer service industry as a buyer and industry consultant. She was a 2008 nominee for the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign, with a degree in Retailing. It really should be NO STARS.
My prints were taken on Friday, 4/​29, and as of today, 5/​5, the office could not find the prints to forward them to the proper agency.
This is the electronic age and this location is not accurate. Still waiting to hear what is happening with my fingerprints.

Long wait and my fingerprints were rejected for poor quality. Website says that their services are guaranteed but when I called they said they do not issue refunds and there is a $ 10 fee to get it done again. The person on the phone was not in the least apologetic and actually a little rude. I’m going to the police station instead of giving this place more of my money. Should have just had the police do it the first time around.

Service was fast. Problem was when calling yo get information the woman was crazy rude. We were given incorrect info originally. I didn’t accuse her of giving the misinformation but I brought it because it really delayed things for us. She was incredibly hostile and defensive. I’ll never understand being shitty to people for no reason. Won’t return to this location.

DON’T go here! I needed my fingerprints done for the state board of nursing out of state. So I went here in April and there was 1 person before me so I didn’t mind waiting. While I was waiting 3 more people came in and it was like 30 minutes to closing so I could tell the lady (who was the only one doing the fingerprinting) was rushing. When it was my turn She was pushing my hand down really carelessly and I could tell they were smudged I asked her about it but she said they were fine. Sure enough I got a letter from the Board of Nursing saying the FBI REJECTED the prints since they weren’t good copies. I called today because on their receipt it says that if they are rejected it would only be $ 10 for reprint. But the lady on the phone (who I could tell could care less) said that since I sent it out of state that I would have to pay full price even though on the receipt it says if FBI and Chicago police department rejects them reprints are $ 10. If she didn’t sound so rude and was a bit more helpful I would have just gone back today and redone them and paid full price but due to the horrible customer service in April and today, I’ll be looking for a different place to go to. Stay away from this place if you don’t want to have to redo your fingerprints!

I’m training to be a CNA so I needed to get fingerprinted. I came in around 2 and there was no one waiting so I was promptly. After handing them my forms and my ID, they quickly got my fingerprints and a picture of me and then I was done. Took no longer than 10 minutes. The only thing that I could complain about is the price (which was $ 40).

A little hard to find — fortunately I had a heads up on that.
I was the third person «in line» and the process went quickly. I was in and out of there within about 10 minutes. The person working there was nice and worked at a steady pace. Not the kind of place one needs to visit regularly, but if one does, it’s pretty easy and painless.

2nd time here for fingerprinting requirement for work. I dread going here, but this place is conveniently located for me. I went here on a Saturday and I was relieved to see there was no wait to get my prints done, but was really disappointed with the poor level of professionalism and customer service of «Carmen», one of the fingerprint takers. «Ryan» was helpful, but the rudeness of Carmen overshadowed him. There are plenty of fingerprint vendors out there (some will even come to you). I will never recommend this place to anyone that comes through my doors.

Stopped in this morning to process some required paperwork and a Bio fingerprint scan. The small office suite was packed! I thought this would take all morning as the sign in list had at least 26 persons that needed service. Not so. The two ladies handling the processing this morning and bio-​scans were speedy, personable, knowledgeable and helpful. Great customer service, no snags or hesitations, guesswork on their part. Despite the crowd, I was out of there in 15 minutes! Good work!

Customer service was friendly and prompt when I called to inquire about fingerprinting. I also checked out there website and it explains in great detail how to request fingerprinting services and what you need to provide. I did an out of state mail in request, which they processed in 24 hours. I though that was pretty fast service. They also sent an email confirmation to let me know that it was received and completed.

The other reviews are old and very wrong. I was just in and out in thirty minutes with all business taken care of. No appointment, no paperwork, just a passport and mail addressed to me. Jenny was the tech and she was kind, speedy, helpful and efficient. I don’t know why I’d ever have to go back, but if I do I will definitely go to this location. Clean office as well. Ample parking in the lot.

This company does NOT value customer service in any which way possible. If they are as horrible as everyone says they are, I don’t even know how they’re still in business.
I am a healthcare student who needs to be fingerprinted before starting my clinicals. Their website indicates that no appointment is necessary, and to just walk right in. After I find their location which does not even show up on my GPS, the lady informs me that I must have a form filled out. There was no clear mention of this anywhere on the site. I ask her for information about where to access this form, and she says that I cannot complete it, my employer must complete it. So I go home to find the form online at the IDPH website to give to my employer, and I don’t see it anywhere.
I call them, and they tell me that my employer must have an account with IDPH to get this form I need, so I ask them what to tell my employer for how to set up an account, and they keep stating «I don’t know» and talking to me as if I’m attacking them personally with my questions. All I wanted was a clear-​cut description of how my employer can obtain this form, but this lady behaved as if I was personally attacking her, finally ending the phone call before I was even done talking, hanging up on me in mid-​sentence.
Why hire idiots who can’t give their customers answers, and then try to hide their own ineptitudes by attacking a polite customer?

I had to go get my prints done for school. Not the funnest thing to do on your day off. Plus it was a drive from where I live.
But I found very convenient parking and easy access building. I went inside inside and the place was spotless!
The young man Ryan is phenominal. He provided great service, very friendly and professional!!! He was very dilligent and efficient in his work. Great place to get your prints done with superior customer service.

Wow, just wow. So horrible.
I had to get my prints taken for a background check for CPS. I was told by them to go here, so I took their recommendation. I looked on their site, found a time/​location for walk-​ins, and popped in. After waiting 5 – 10 minutes, they ask:
«Where’s your form?»
«What form?» I reply.
Apparently there was some form CPS needed in the packet they sent me by email. Ok, my fault, but you don’t have to give me attitude about it. They say I can have someone fax it. I have it in my email, but apparently they don’t «do» email. WTF? The whole time the guy is acting like I’m being such a burden by interrupting his solitaire game. I finally manage to get friend to fax my email to them.
I ask the guy if he wants to make a copy of the form, for the next person who doesn’t have this standard form. I’m sure I won’t be the last poor soul who forgets. But no, that just doesn’t make sense to these people.
Above that, they charge me a fee for using a credit card, which is not allowed (
).
AVOID this place if at all possible. Even the other people I saw seemed to have trouble.

I’ve had very few experiences with a service that can compare to this one. One of the women at the counter was ruder than the worst DMV employee you’ve ever imagined. She was yelling at people on the phone, mocking walk-​ins questions, and went so far as to grab paperwork away from a woman and scoff while filling it out for her.
Beyond that monster of a human being, the wait was nearly an hour and a half for a process that takes only a couple of minutes. They were averaging about one customer every 15 – 20 minutes with nearly 20 of us filling the waiting room.
If you have the option of using another background check agency, do yourself a favor and avoid Biometrics. If you don’t have the option, do yourself a favor and try to avoid this particular office.

Dealing with Accurate Biometrics, formerly Art’s Investigiations, has been nothing short of a headache. They are the agency that my school chooses to contract with to provide fingerprinting and background checks for future teachers, so unfortunately, I had little choice in the matter.
I appreciate them coming to our school, but this «service» becomes more of a nuisance when the person taking the prints refuses to honor appointments that students had made in advance. Being kept waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time and making me late for work? Not cool.
I was told that the results would be mailed out in 2 – 3 weeks. this was on April 18th. I received my results in the mail in the end of June, after I had logged three hours sitting on hold trying to get a human being to answer my questions — and after my advisor was threatening me with not being able to graduate this year because she had not yet received my fingerprints/​background check.
I also know I am not the only student to receive such crappy processing from them; our advisor had to send us a mass email reminding us to hound the folks at Accurate Biometrics because apparently, a whole batch of our background checks took almost two months to process.
If given the choice, I would choose anyone but Accurate Biometrics.
