History

Established in 2007.

Alina Kruk-​Velazquez, the business owner, opened the door to ABC Dance Academy in late 2007. She has been assisting in many dance classes at the same location since 1996 and when the opportunity opened up she formed ABC Dance Academy. Since 2007 the studio’s look changed bringing us new students. Also many new styles of classes were added. New students find the studio convenient for their dancing experience. There you will get your questions answered also in Polish and Spanish. In August of 2013 the studio relocated to Jefferson Park, to offer more dance & fitness classes in renovated 2-​dance floor store front.

Business Owner

Alina Kruk-​Velazquez, the business owner, opened the door to ABC Dance Academy in late 2007. She has been assisting in many dance classes at the same location since 1996 and when the opportunity opened up she formed ABC Dance. Ms. Alina, originally from Poland, has lived in Chicago since 1992. Married to Jesus, has three children: Michelle, Danilo & Nicolas. Since 2007 the studio’s profile changed bringing us new students ages 3 and up. Many new styles of dance and fitness classes were added. New students find the studio convenient for their dancing experience. There you will get your questions answered also in Polish and Spanish. We welcome students from all over the world. You will see Ms. Alina helping with new registrations, as well as answering any questions any regular students may have. ABC Dance Academy hires experienced instructors who put their heart out for what they love to do best: dance & teach!
