A-Aabbitt 24 Hour Locksmith Service

Love this locksmith! He went above and beyond the call of duty when I was trapped on my roof. My deck doors auto lock when closed-​I had just moved in and didn’t know :(
Anyway, the locksmith was able to get my back door opened after squeezing through a tight spot and hopping a fence. He had that sucker open in 2 minutes and was then able to walk up and rescue me from freezing on my roof at night.
I never thought of a locksmith as a hero before, but I do now.

Dave was terrific. I lost my keys while out of town. He met me coming home from the airport, got me into my place pretty quickly, and made sure to check my ID. I could not have asked for better service and his rates were very reasonable.

Worked with David and he was very professional and prompt. I had some issues with a lock on my gate and they came out and gave me an honest assessment of the job. Great customer service. Fast.

This locksmith was a good locksmith but he smelled like marijuana.
It was so strong that I had to leave the room!

I had used this company awhile ago and their service was excellent. I needed a locksmith at work and called them for some desk and cabinet keys. David was very professional and did an excellent job. My company has since moved and they’ve done all the work that was needed — prompt and done right. Highly recommend this company.

When I called them, a man answered right away (on new years day) and told me he’d be here in less than an hour. He arrived within the time frame and was very professional and nice. It took him less than a minute to make my day and let me back in.
The price for this service is pretty steep, but that’s what I get for being a dumbass. I’d definitely recommend this business to everyone!

After my somewhat negative review recently, I received a call from the owner who reminded me that they did not install the galvanized insert and only changed our keys. So, I stand corrected. However, my rating level stands as they failed to diagnose the issues we were having, while another locksmith did. We have also had key problems on another lock where they re-​keyed, since day one. The owner mentioned that they warranty their workmanship… I just wish he had told me that when they did the initial work.

When I am eulogized, I want them to say that the thing she enjoyed the most in life is the wind on her face while she drove her scooter. It’s not livin’ if you’re not scootin’.
My guy had his bag stolen on a gig and in it was our sole scooter key.
Every repair person I called suggested that my entire ignition needed to be replaced. One even suggested, due to the fact my scooter is a off brand Chinese scooter that I shouldn’t even repair it and buy a new one. Yeah… just buy a new scooter, sure. I called several locksmiths and to no avail, none could or would make a new key for my poor scoot! Things were looking grim.
I called A-​Aabbitt where I explained my problem and was met with a, «Sure! shouldn’t be a problem!» He was at my apartment complex around an hour and a half later. After working two hours straight in a super hot garage, he produced a new key for my scooter without even having a base brand key! He was been working with locks for 20 years. Truly an expert and a savior!

Best service! They were extremely prompt, knowledgeable, and so efficient. I needed two locks replaced and then ended up doing all three so I could use one key. They even pointed out that I needed an extra brace on the outside door that my neighbors all had but I didnt know that I should. So great and friendly too. highly recommend!

Yesterday I locked my house keys in my garage, and called A-​Aabbitt to help me open the lock on my garage so I could get in. They told me it would be 30 – 45 minutes, and the locksmith showed up in about 40 minutes. He was a nice guy, worked quickly and got the door open in about 2 minutes flat. $ 100 bucks with a Unilocaler discount, not too bad for a stupid mistake.
However, one thing really bothered me– he never asked for ID or any proof that we lived there. He just asked if we called, and then busted right in. It was really disconcerting that a locksmith would just open up a door without even making an attempt to verify that the place is yours. It just seemed a little shady and rubbed me the wrong way.

Let’s begin with I’m an idiot who locked myself out of my mothers house while I was dog sitting, and then I had to find a locksmith! I jumped on Unilocal and found this place with great reviews and I wasn’t led astray. It was about 1 am. and when I called they answered the phone quickly and politely; they gave me a quote on price and an estimated arrival time of about 40 minutes. I’m glad it wasn’t a cold night because I had locked myself out in pajamas and had to wait the full 40 minutes, but he was not late. I was really happy that he was on time and friendly when he got there and didn’t look sketchy or creepy as I had imagined he would. It literally took him 30 seconds to unlock my door (I used a stop watch to time him). My moms beagle and I were reunited happily and quickly; what more could you ask for from a locksmith? He didn’t have to damage anything or change anything simply picked the lock. The only reason I docked a star is because the grand total for my stupidity was $ 110! I have never been in this situation before and thought for LITLERALLY 30 seconds of work $ 110 was a bit high but I do understand they are a 24 hour service. God forbid I do this again I would definitely call them back and would recommend this service to anyone.

So my wife’s girlfriend’s came over to accompany her for a walk with our newborn around the neighborhood. I stepped out to carry the stroller down the front steps and as they walked out behind me… before i could say a word…
These guys were great. Was told they’d be here in 30 – 40 minutes. it took them 45, but they were courteous enough to call at the 40 minute mark to let me know where they were… a definite plus. a few minutes later I was back in the house — just as my wife and the gang came back from their walk. thanks for your help!

They were excellent — great service time and delivery. I was expecting to pay hundreds and wait for hours. I called in the middle of the night, and they came right away. Opened the lock in less than a minute. David was very professional, and extremely helpful. He obviously knows what he’s doing. And he only charged me a fraction of what I was expecting. If I ever get locked out again, I know where I’m calling.

I consider myself a responsible man and after giving up the hunt for my car keys somewhere in Lincoln Park, I Unilocaled 24 hour locksmith. Let me inform you its 11 pm on a cold ass monday night, my impatient GF was flying back to California tomorrow and majority of the locksmiths were estimating about $ 300 for service. I called David and he was there within 30mins, finished about an 1hr later and gave me a 5% off veterans discount hahah. NICE. THANK YOU AGAIN.

When I had an issue with the lock at my store in Lincoln Park A-​aabbitt quickly came to assist. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs lock service.

Although I have never before needed a locksmith service, after using Aabbitt recently I would never look anywhere else! My husband & I realized that we boarded our plane home without our keys, and we called ahead to request help– they were extremely accommodating & timed their arrival with ours back to the house. They worked efficiently to get us back into our place and were professional & courteous the entire time (it was cold outside, late at night & we had a rough day travelling). Definitely recommend them!

I called this morning at 5:50am after my lock jammed while I was out walking a dog. Aabbitt was courteous, friendly, and fast. They got me back in my apartment within a couple minutes of arriving. They were even patient while I went to a nearby gas station to get cash. It would be nice if they were a little more open to credit card payment (he did say he would accept credit, but preferred to wait while I got cash), but overall they provided great service.

They just came out… I was in a real bind as I had no one in town who had my keys, my dog inside, and it is freezing out!!!
Aabbitt got here in 30 minutes as promised, got me in without having to drill, drove me around the corner to get cash, then drove me home because it’s so cold. He offered… I didn’t ask.
SUPER fast, SUPER friendly, SUPER glad I contacted them.

Called at 7.40pm on Super Bowl Sunday when we got locked out of our apartment. My 20 month old daughter was ready to melt-​down. Aabbitt said they’d be there in 20 minutes. He was there in 15 and had my lock open in 2 minutes flat. Highly recommended.
