1620 S Michigan

Great building. Purchased in 2007, love the building, neighborhood and love building manager (Jack Beebe) and maintenance (Martin), they are always very helpful. Great neighborhood to live in and just saw that it was rated the #2 place to live in 2016! Can’t beat that!

I lived in this building for 3 years. I first rented one bed then moved to a 2 bed. The staff, manager and evening door person were great. Everyone was kind and responsive. The building is kept clean and well-​maintained. The only downside was only having 2 elevators. For most times it was ok, but if someone was moving in or out, then we’re done to one elevator and that was tough.

This is a very nice building. I lived there for two years and the only thing I would change would be adding a small gym or some kind of common area. You obviously know going into it that CMK properties do not have amenities, hence the low assessment fees, but I missed having something extra! The building is very clean overall, and the people are friendly. The location is great, our unit had a nice view of the lake. The parking garage was nice, obviously small spots, like any other in the city. Also, it was nice to have dog bags in the back alley, which acts as a convenient doggy potty area. I also heard they will be putting in a large dog park behind the building, which will be really great for 1620 residents!
