123 Knockout Clean

An awful experience. Like many others, I purchased a Groupon.
It took multiple attempts to get through to the company, and finally I booked a date.
Of course they never showed up. I should have checked with Unilocal prior to booking a service. I took a day off for THIS?!!

Worst customer service ever. I bought the 3 clean groupon — the first time they didnt show, no call or anything. Had to reschedule 3 times with them until they finally showed.
Yesterday was my second clean. I called to make sure that they had my appointment in the system, the guy confirmed and as expected, no one showed up. I haven’t been able to contact them since then, and apparently their website is gone?
Probably the most unprofessional company ever — definitely call groupon and get a refund.

This company is horrendous. Had an appointment March 5 and the cleaners had an accident and couldn’t make it. It took weeks and about 15 unreturned calls from me to reschedule for April 12. The appointment was at 1030. It is now noon with no word and their voice mails are full and of course are not answering the phones. I’ve asked Groupon for my money back!

After finally having Groupon contact the company for me, since I could not get a hold of them myself, I made an appointment. I was told they would be here this morning. I stayed optimistic regardless of the Unilocal reviews I had already read.

Well here we are.
Friday morning and I get a call from 123KnockoutClean telling me they couldn’t come due to the snow. Now if I was back in Austin, TX I would have been more understanding, but this is Chicago. If the airports are not closed, you’re NOT. I told the person that they needed to get someone out here today or I was going to ask for a full refund from Groupon due to incompetence. He told me that they were going to try and get someone out here. So now I am cleaning my house, no longer being optimistic, being late to work because I have company coming in town. If they had called me last night, I would have cleaned the house myself. Complete failure as a company.
I have been calling their phone number over and over only to receive a message stating that they are closed during their normal business hours. Just trying to see if they are actually trying to get someone out here or not. Obviously they are NOT.
I would recommend you cancel this business as a member of Groupon and immediately report them to the BBB.
Complete dissatisfaction as a customer.

About a week after the first (and, we thought, last) appointment, I got a call from the owner wondering what we thought of the service. I informed her that I had called her on the day of the service to complain and had received no response. She offered to send her «best girl» to give it another shot. I accepted and scheduled for the following Saturday at 10 AM.
On Saturday at 7:30 AM, my phone rang. The «best girl» was 2.5 hours early. We were sleeping. We got out of bed, let her in, gave detailed instructions, and then we left. We told her we would be back before 10:30 (it was supposed to be a 3 hours session) to tip her.
We got back at 10:20, and she was gone. She hadn’t cleaned everything, either. I called, and an hour later they said they would send her back. I declined. Why bother? Very, very disappointing, but at least we didn’t waste a $ 20 tip on this one (unlike the first time).

DON’T BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. Opting against wasting mine and your times with a lengthy review, just take my my word that their service is unexplainably bad. Their managing coordinator, James, sounds higher than hell, half asleep and mentally ill-​equipped. Why would I want a complimentary cleaning if you didn’t show up?

I also fell for the groupon. I was honestly trying to find a regular cleaning service and I thought that this would give me a good opportunity to check out different companies. I first tried to contact them through their on line booking on December 26^th and never got any kind of a response. I then tried again in late Februrary, this time by telephone and after sittng on hold for ten minutes finally got through to a human only to be told. «We are booked up and not even looking at March yet» (It was February 28^th). When I asked how they could accomodate me they had no response, were extremely rude and ultimately hung up on me.
I only wish I was smart enough to return the Groupon up front. I have also contacted groupon and other than their initial automated message I have not heard anything from them. I have raised a dispute with my credit card company.
No one should do business with this company.

UNBELIEVABLE! I spent $ 99 on 3 cleanings. As a busy mom of 7, I need a little extra help… with everything. I spoke to Curtis the scheduler and he assured me that TWO cleaners would be here on 1÷10÷12. Guess what?! NO one showed or called. I am disappointed and surprised that Groupon would even do business (or attempt) with such an unreliable company. Luckily, Groupon issued a refund.

I fell for it, too. My appointment was for 10:50am, it is now 11:30am. No call, no show. I called the company and got no answer. I reached out to groupon and I’m waiting for a response. What a disappointment.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I bought a groupon and they were supposed to come at 10:30am to clean and never showed. I left a message at 11am and it is now after 5pm and they never called back. Total scam!

Terrible. Unprofessional. Rude. They NEVER showed up. Never even called to say they were going to be late or cancel the appointment. I called during normal business hours and kept getting a voicemail saying they are closed and only open on weekdays from 9 – 3. I called at 1pm! They haven’t even called me back to reschedule. If I could give zero stars I would.

I’m also sitting here like the rest of the folks who have posted here pretty sure that I just got caught looking for a deal. Bought the Groupon Monday morning, scheduled the appointment for Wednesday morning at 7:50 AM and here I sit at 9AM monday morning with nobody in sight and no call back from the office about where the cleaning person is at.
I should’ve figured it out yesterday when I called to confirm and when I asked if they knew who was going to be coming they didn’t know and when I confirmed the time the guy said, «They might be a few minutes behind.» As I’m writing this i’m disappointed with myself even more now. How could I have been so dumb?
I already gave them my Groupon voucher number too so hopefully I can still get a refund from Groupon. If not, well, I just threw $ 40 down the toilet. Don’t make the same mistake!

Similar experience here. Appointment made; the day of – no show, no call. I have a dealfind voucher, so I’ve been calling them for 7 weeks trying to reschedule, and not once did I hear back. Needless to say, I give up.
I was shocked when I saw them featured on Groupon, since Groupon usually does good due diligence on the merchants…
Stay away!

I bought yesterday’s Groupon and quickly returned it after coming here to read the company reviews. Thanks fellow Unilocalers for saving me :) After making an impulse purchase (hey I felt like I deserved some cleaning help after the holidays) I called right away to set up and appointment. The guy I spoke to sounded like he was pulling dates out of thin air with no calendar in sight. There was no sort of confirmation process for the cleaning date I selected. He didn’t ask what services I wanted. I hung up the phone confused… therefore I did some quick research to see what others had to say. I think I will go with some more reputable.

Very shady.
The Cleaning Lady showed up 40 minutes late. Then, took 3 hours to do the following:
Clean 2 small bathrooms
Dust 1 bedroom & 1 small living room
Wipe down the counters in my tiny kitchen
Wipe down the exposed baseboards
Keep in mind, I ran the vacuum & made the bed.
Then, she said that she didn’t have time to do ANY of the floors. What!!!
I had to pay extra for her to stay 20 more minutes to mop the bathrooms, kitchen & living area.
Then, she said that she didn’t have a bucket. Obviously, she never intended to clean my floors the whole time.
She did a terrible job.
Stay away from this company!!!

Had the worst experience with them. Also impossible to get a hold of. Stay away from this shady company
